I got this more expensive version because I planned on keeping my computer for several years. The computer crashed within the first couple of months and was replaced under warranty by HP. Microsoft was excellent in assisting me move this paid for version to the new computer. Thanks Microsoft!

Needed Microsoft word. So we paid for it. It made no sense to pay for one year.

The less expensive "Home & Student" version of Office is an inexpensive way to still stay current with the always evolving versions of Microsoft Office. As the name implies, for basic home use there is no need for the more expensive business and pro versions. Even got our copy with a BestBuy discount.

I like it because I don’t need to keep paying every year to renew my subscription.

My previous version of Microsoft Officed was from 2007 so it was very old and no longer supported. It also couldn't be loaded on my new computer, so I now have an updated version so I can continue to do the things I need to process. This product is one "I can't live without."

Bonus was Black Friday pricing and saved. The setup for Office Home and Student was simple. Go to your Microsoft account or create one if you don’t already have one, and then log in. From there, you can redeem the code you are given to activate the product key for you to use. Download was straight forward with no hicups.

Glad that Office still sells this version of their program for home use. Price is reasonable. It’s easy to install. Some of the changes in Word will take a bit of getting used to but nothing is unmanageable. Glad to not have to deal with subscriptions. I’m using it with latest edition of the MacOS. Runs smoothly.

I ordered this online from the Best Buy website. That was a simple transaction. Less than an hour later, I got an email with a code to use to download the software from the Microsoft website. It took about half an hour to get everything set up on my new laptop, and it's working flawlessly.

It’s Microsoft Office. This was purchased for our MacBook Pro. As always, it’s a great program to use for work and home. Microsoft made it super easy to install and use. We bought the software version with the product key so that we do not have to pay a yearly membership. I’m sure this program will work for us for years and years to come.

After purchasing our computer , the immediate service of the Geek Squad , ( Dominic ) to be precise came around to assist and explain what services they could provide us . By setting up the computer for us and making the transaction seamless . Dominic is a very courteous and professional employee and should be recognized .

I’ve been jumping back and forth between all the apps to do my homework for classes. I use OneNote to take digital notes of my lectures. Then I’ll go into PowerPoint to look at extra notes my professor uploads. Finally Word is my most used and I use it for all my assignments. All the apps work amazing.

Excel and Word are critical to me. Sometimes I write emails in Word so they are easier to edit and paste them into my email program. I use Excel to track investments, trend my financial position and prepare budgets. This version is a little different than the last one I had but adjusting hasn't been a problem.

Love this Microsoft Program, once and done with no extra payment

I bought this on Black Friday to go with a new laptop, and with the holidays I havent had much time to use it yet, but so far it has been an easy transition. I still have Office 2007 on my home desktop, just recently upgraded from '10 to '16 at work, going from '07 to '10 was the worst for me. I think '19 is going to be more user friendly.

This was an upgrade form older version of Office which had many parts that weren't compatible with the newest Mac OS. Features on the 2013 are fairly easy to learn, but sometimes moved to odd locations. It will just take time to learn all the ins and outs. It was easy to install though you do need an MS account.

I bought this version of Office instead of the subscription because I don’t use this product extensively. However, I’m happy to report that all my documents from an 8 year old version of Office have converted precisely. No formatting changes to the original docs. I recommend this version if your situation is similar to mine.

The student Microsoft addition is just as sufficient as the professional edition if you are using it for home use and do not need Access, Outlook or Publisher. If you are not using it for work and do not care about the other applications, save your money.

Purchased this to install in new computer after old HD crash. Working OK so far. Only problem is THIS version dos not have Access, and I was using Access on my old computer, and didn't notice it did not include Access. Should consider being able to add it as an inexpensive option add-in so previous users don't have to Re-Buy Office with Access full version if they used to operate on a system with full Office software.

Digital version takes long to install. I had been watching the development of the install for hours and I finally went to bed. I woke to the same activity (screen never even showed what % was completed). I had to do the research leading me to reach out to MS. Ultimately, I had to restart the computer and it was done. Long night and day. Ugh.
