My work still uses Microsoft Office and I have been using it for years so it's simple for me. Bought a new cpu so I needed it as well. I like Google's G-Suite as well and many schools are going the Google route so I don't know if it is even needed for school districts using Google. Make sure you know before you buy for your student. This is not needed if G-Suite is used.

Bought this because I didn't want my stuff on any 'cloud'. It was a bit more of a process to install than I thought would be but nothing horrible. I do wish that it included Outlook for the price (you need to buy Home and Business - $100 more - for that added program) but I will survive without it. Overall just fine...especially not having to pay a yearly fee to be on a 'cloud'.

I bought this to use on my Surface Go after I took it out of safe mode. I plan on keeping the Surface Go for a long time and didn't want to keep paying an annual subscription fee. Also, I have to need for the cloud storage that comes with Office 365 as I use Google Drive. Owning this license was the best choice for me.

Well, it's a good product. But I was hoping for more than one computer license. Apparently, those don't exist (anymore). MS Access was in the download, but does not work unless purchased and activated. No idea why it came that way. Better than Office 2016, which had conflicts with some computers (including mine) that made it crash.

This was for our adult daughter and met her needs perfectly.

So in my original review, i was complaining that the product key didn't work. turns out it was my fault for not cleaning the scratch cover enough i read the letter T as letter J. after which it worked fine and i was able to download word, excel and powerpoint. they're all i need. I get my email thru gmail now, anyway.

I've been using Microsoft office with no issues. It's been great having this product to further my career. without Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word I would be lost. Best Buy provided a great product and service at a reasonable price. I would recommend this Microsoft Office to anyone in need of those services

For how much you’re paying, I wish this included everything in the Microsoft Office suite, but I can make do with what it comes with in this one (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint). For things like Outlook and Access I can do at my work. It just adds a little to the inconvenience side. I also prefer to be able to pay one initial cost like with this version rather than pay a never subscription fee.

This works perfectly for our elementary and junior high school kids. They mostly use Google Docs for they’re schoolwork but occasionally need to use Microsoft Office for their needs. While it doesn’t have all the options available that the monthly subscription has, it’s plenty for us.

I bought a new MacBook and needed Microsoft. I didn’t want 365 because I don’t always have internet. It works like it should. I don’t see any differences in this and the older versions except find/replace is hard to find or not on there. I’m not sure, I haven’t found it yet.

worth it to buy this versus the yearly if you dont need the email.

I love Microsoft Office, works great, I have one less star because I recently bought a device and wish I could have used my previously purchased Office package and this package is so high priced. I also would have liked a discount since I purchased a Microsoft device. Also, I’m not sure why sometimes I have to enter a security code when I already have downloaded the program.

For my purchase, excellent knowledge and help. I knew what I wanted to replace my laptop. I was shown a better one on sale for about the same cost of my last purchase. I was led through the purchase, and signing up with Greek Squad for cleaning up the purchase.

Convenient and easy to install with all directions.

I purchased Microsoft Office for Windows 10 for student use rather than opt for the annual fee. Easy install and it works great. This is the less expensive route to go in the long run and I will not have to pay monthly/annually. Includes Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. I have not used the OneNote for Windows 10 yet.

I have been using Office Home & Student for many years. I recently purchased the lifetime 2019 version for my new All-in-One PC. Without Home & Office my PC would only be used for the Internet and photo storage. This version is very user friendly. Although I am retired now, I still use Word and Ex-cell all the time.
