Can only hold it using certain angles or you need to rotate the mechanism so you can actually hold it. If you want to put your fingers inside the grip it can mess with closing the grip. It uses adhesive to attach to your phone so be careful because it is really strong. The magnets for magsafe are really strong and nice but too many downsides.

Better alternative to pop socket

Holds well but no kickstand

I can’t sit my phone down at an angle to watch things on it. Disappointed for sure at spending $30. I don’t have the packaging still or I would take it back

Big mistake

Posted .Hey ChristopherF! Thank you so much for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you are running into issues with wireless charging with the Snap Grip. If the grip is preventing your phone from receiving wireless charging, I would recommend the following:
1. Check your thickness. The case needs to be less than 2.2mm thick (the thickness of a nickel). If your case is thicker than this, then it's possible that the overall thickness is too much for your wireless charger to power through.
2. Check your charger. Ohsnap recommends magnetic/magsafe chargers for best results with Snap 4 Luxe. Pads and stands have too much positioning variance to get the advantages of the updated grip design that helps charging in magsafe conditions.
3. Check your placement - you want to make sure that the grip is centered over the internal charing coil that supports the wireless charger. The best way to find this is by placing your charger over your phone (before placing your grip) to see where successful charging is achieved.
4. Check your power - make sure you're using a wireless charger that supports 20w (this is normally most chargers that now use USB-C and not USB-A). If the charger is not getting proper power, it won't be able to go through the thickness mentioned above.

If you have an otterbox case, dont bother

If you do then you dont have to worry about removing the grip fron your phone case, the magnitic on whatever charger you ise will oull it right iff the otterbox. After purxhasing the midnight blue version, following the instructions by not using the magnetic feature for 24 hours. The first time putting it on my charger, the grip came off the case. So i returned it and got the orange one, this time i tried using the adhesive that comes with the product along with super glue. I also let it set for 48 hours before using the magnetic feature. Suprise suprise, put it on the charger and the grip came right off the case. So you have created a product that wont work with one of the most popular phone cases sold today and make no mention in your product detail about it. Brazo OhSnap for a terrible product.
