This is far less convient to use than a popsocket given that you have to press a specific area to open it unlike the popsocket. Also magsafe charging doesn't work with this if attached to a magsafe phone case (ohsnap doesn't like to advertise that fact despite 85% of phones being used in phone cases).

They advertise as "super slim" which just means it's flimsy and uncomfortable to hold. The pop up piece is so skinny it can cut into your hand. It has no ability to stand up the phone either. All that for $40? Way too much.

Thin, but over overheat phone in MagSafe charging!

Did that and it my phone got over heated when using my MagSafe car charger mount (I have original Apple case, so don’t tell me my case is too thick)

Incompatible with new 25W MagSafe

With older 15W MagSafe, this has worked fine, but now with new 25W MagSafe, chargethrough no longer functions at all! I tested on both a 15 ProMax and 16 ProMax using official Apple Silicone cases, and it’s a no go on both. If your MagSafe puck has a braided cable or is based on Qi2, it will -not- work to charge your phone if you also use a case with this grip.

Not worth $40

For the price, the product feels cheap, feels like the grip part is cheaply made and is bound to break with moderate use. And I know it’s supposed to charge with the piece on, but so far, it doesn’t seem to be working very well. Loses its connection or something with very little jostling. The adhesive to stick this on the phone is a problem too, as it’s a pain to readjust if needed. Yeah, so for $40, I would NOT recommend. I’m returning it.

This sure does look like false advertising to me!

It was very hot to the touch. I contacted the company and they told me they couldn't guarantee it would work with all phones. Mine is a flagship phone so what kind of phone did they intend these for?

They did better than the last version but seems like a much flimsier version. It feels cheap. When you wireless charge through it, the phone and charger get super hot. It won’t allow charging in a Tesla Model Y without removing it.

Does not stick to S24 Ultra

I guess these grips do not play well with the material used on Samsung phones. Tried it with my daily deiver s24 ultra and the grip would always stick to the charger. Disappointed. Also odd how there were no reviews a few days ago and now a bunch of 5 stars with buzz words and photos. Ya, okay.

Flimsy as paper

Feels like it’s going to break, it is super thin plastic “legs” not worth 40 bucks, not worth 20 bucks. I will be returning this.
