I saw that the brand came out with an updated version (The Snap 4 Luxe Metal) and I wanted to upgrade mine. I decided to order from Best Buy this time because of the faster shipping (arrived in two days) rather than the official store which took between 3-5 days and was the same price on both sites. The Snap 4 was worth it. You can tell the improvements made from the original model.

I did not like that I had to stick it on with adhesive to my case. I prefer to be able to remove it when I do not want it installed. It did try to charge through on my magsafe charger. However, it sucked my battery dry when the charger tried to charge it, it ended up discharging my phone. My phone shut down when the battery went to 0% overnight. I had to recharge my phone and hard reboot. It took about two hours to get it to turn on. This was my second attempt to charge through. I watched it to make sure it was charging, it still failed me.

Its okay

If you just use the magnet part it comes off when you tske your phone off the metal.

If you get a case that has Magsafe it attaches nicely. If it doesn't you have the adhesive. The kickstand feature works great as well in landscape mode. I do hate that they're 40 bucks kinda pricey but I believe it's worth it .

Magsafe charging is not consistent. Sometimes it will charge and sometimes it will not and i will need to use a wired charger. The finger grip is not the most stable and i've dropped it a few times on my head. I'm still on the hunt for a finger grip that consistently charges and has a stable grip.

Super slim and effective, not as easy to use as PS

While it is MUCH slimmer than the pop socket, and does all of the same things, what i disliked the most is that it is not as easy to pop the ring out and also not as easy to hold with the ring if you have bigger fingers. The slim profile they use requires a totally different solution to how the ring comes out, and it uses a tiny lever system to accomplish this. It does work, and works very well for its purpose, but it just feels strange. Unlike with the pop socket that can be opened from any angle and with one finger, this only opens from one direction and takes some getting use to in order to find the correct angle to open it from. I decided not to keep it and gave it to a friend who wanted it.
