It doesn’t say that anywhere on the description. I thought it would hold on via MagSafe and it feels like more of a commitment when you have to use sticky adhesive to attach to something. Seems a bit deceptive. I’m going to return it.

Returned product.. save you money

The disk is attached by a plastic piece and when you try to collapse the disk, it doesn’t line up correctly so I had to alternate the grooves to collapse the disk. I also had placed my phone on a metal lamp shelf and when I went to grab my phone the pop socket magnetized to the shelf and pooped off my phone case. Once that happened the socket never stuck to my phone. It also wasn’t compatible with my wireless charging pad so to charge my phone I either had to remove case or using a USB cord. It also wouldn’t fit back into my holster with the pop socket

It came off my phone when I tried to remove it from my magnetic phone mount. Now it's stuck to my phone mount. If you want to use it as a pop socket, go ahead. But if you want to use it for its magnetic properties, be ready to leave it stuck on the magentic surface.

But, it's been a major letdown because of one thing: the sticky part. Even though I put it on super carefully, it never felt solid and started peeling off in just a few hours. I tried cleaning it and pressing down harder, but the adhesive just doesn't stick. This makes the whole thing pointless. The unreliable stickiness is a real pain, and it's made me drop my phone. I can't even trust it to hold my phone, which is the whole reason to have a grip. The Ohsnap's design is cool in theory, but the crappy adhesive means I can't recommend it. It's a product with potential, ruined by one big flaw. You're better off finding a phone grip with better stickiness.

Big mistake

Posted .Hey ChristopherF! Thank you so much for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you are running into issues with wireless charging with the Snap Grip. If the grip is preventing your phone from receiving wireless charging, I would recommend the following:
1. Check your thickness. The case needs to be less than 2.2mm thick (the thickness of a nickel). If your case is thicker than this, then it's possible that the overall thickness is too much for your wireless charger to power through.
2. Check your charger. Ohsnap recommends magnetic/magsafe chargers for best results with Snap 4 Luxe. Pads and stands have too much positioning variance to get the advantages of the updated grip design that helps charging in magsafe conditions.
3. Check your placement - you want to make sure that the grip is centered over the internal charing coil that supports the wireless charger. The best way to find this is by placing your charger over your phone (before placing your grip) to see where successful charging is achieved.
4. Check your power - make sure you're using a wireless charger that supports 20w (this is normally most chargers that now use USB-C and not USB-A). If the charger is not getting proper power, it won't be able to go through the thickness mentioned above.

It’s thin and kinda cute but it seems so flimsy and was not comfortable around the fingers. It has an adhesive which confuses me since it’s supposedly magsafe compatible. It says to let it set for 24 hrs before you use it as a magnet on surfaces. I bought it, opened it in the parking lot, and immediately returned it. I’ll stick with popsockets
