this device is very portable and it does the job its meant for. If you are looking for recorder get this. I very much recommend

I got this for a friend that is studying piano and wanted something compact to record piano solos to play along with. It is easy to use and she is quite happy with it.

I used this voice recorder in class, and the clearest recording I found was was in "Talk" mode. Talk mode had over 200+ hours of recording, which was more than what I needed. Although I sat towards the front of the class, I found the recording was still very muffled and quiet. Transfer was very easy and efficient with the supplied USB cable.
