I do not like this very hard to understand the instructions, I still have two parts that I recorded and I could not erase them. that's why I do not recommend it to anybody, besides I leave it recording and it turns itself off and the battery is quickly lowered.

It records pretty well and sensitive enough to record in a large area. it comes in handy too.

Playback OK, but poor sync w PC. Earbuds work OK. Another unit worked better.

It works okay but does not have very good volume adjustment.

Easy to use. But the unit does not pick up the sound as well as my older one.

Good for a short recording . A long recording, If you miss something during playback have to start at the beginning to hear it again.

I hold this recorder to my mouth and speak in a middle voice. I can barely hear it when played back. I thought maybe it is just my voice. so I took with me to an art lesson and recorded my male art instructors voice 1' from him and can hear very few words with it held to my ear. bad recorder.

Had to return item, it was too complicated to operate - Owned another Olympus digital recorder and it was more simpler to operate.

The sound quality is lacking. The device is not easy to use. Instructions that came with the device were not clear and not easy to understand.

Purchased to replace older model by the same manufacturer. Did not function as well and had fewer features but cost the same as my older model

Thought we might use this for casual dictation instead of using our cell phones. Was not easy to use. Was hoping it would be more intuitive, rather than read the manual we decided to use our cell phones and MP3 player for recording. On the upsaide, taking the recorder back was super easy! The customer service staff at Best Buy Arden Fair in Sacramento made the return process quick and painless! Always great customer service at Arden Fair.

instructions not clear and when I try what the instructions say to do, it doesn't work. a waste of my money

Play back volume is low and not great quality recording as it doesn’t quit full fill needs

All of the recording I had sound muffled. Couldn’t hear anything

This recorder is HORRIBLE!!!! It was super muffled and low; while on the highest quality possible, might I add. If you have an iPhone please don't waste your time NOR money on this. My iPhone was way louder and clearer than this thing!!

got this to go with my hearing device from school , not clear enough for outside study

The noise distortion is horrible. It's sound after a recording, is all garbled. Even when I help it up to my mouth to record, it was unclear. There was no other distractions in the room that I recorded in. I returned it and upgraded to a Sony. So much better!

I wanted this recorder to tape the noise my neighbors make. The recorder didn't pick it up. It only picked up the voices in my house, not the noise from the neighbors. I specifically asked the sales associate if the recorder can do that and was told yes.
