I use the device for recording meetings and later creating a written summary. It does a great job of picking up everyone's discussion regardless of where they are seated at the table.

We Building Envelope Consultants use digital recorders extensively in our business and we have several Olympus models, Phillips models and Sony models. Far and away this recorder makes getting good sound quality and speedy retrieval the easiest. Further, we are gradually replacing recorders requiring a cord to charge a rechargeable batter and to connect to computers. This recorder has the built-in USB for rapid charging and downloading recordings. As I gracefully age, the larger controls are valuable in many onsite settings where there isn't optimal lighting and I may be on a lift or swing stage up in the air several stories.

This is a very good voice recorder, the different settings work very well and are needed. Simple to operate, good sound quality, very good storage capacity.

Product has very good recording quality and is simple to use. Easy playback and good battery time. Lots of helpful features but need to read the manual to find them.

This recorder is intuitive to use and syncs well with Dragon Naturally Speaking. Holds a LOT of dictation, and recharges via USB.

Without a room build to be conducive to sound engineering and noise control, it won't produce outstanding quality on its own. It WILL however be perfect for catching that sudden surge of inspiration or the lecture which is putting you to sleep... I can always u derstand playback even if I walk away. Within 10ft, this is beautifully useful for memory and simple recording purposes. And nothing is more convenient than a retractable USB drive. Easy transfers and a user-friendky, highly efficient interface.

i used this to record several breakout sessions at a week long conference. As the box did not include a detailed manual, I had to research how to use the settings and then played with the settings over the course of the conference. It was easy to upload the audios onto my Mac. Audio playback was acceptable but not outstanding. Background noise was minimal. The small size makes it convenient for travel.

I have used this little recorder daily for three weeks and so far so good. My only complaint is that it is still too easy to bump into control buttons on the front if you lean over something. Still way better than the Sony I used to have, though. I do wish I had spent a little extra to get the model that recharges when I plug it into my laptop, but that's not the fault of the recorder. It would also be nice if they supplied a neck lanyard to go with it.

This thing is amazing. It saved my life during long boring lectures. It records great and the sound is real clear. It also allows you to pause the recording. Battery life is awesome! I bought the previous model before this one and accidentally dropped it. Well after that it stopped working and I lost everything. I bought this one and dropped it as well however it still works like new.

An excellent recorder. It has a great playback sound, very clear. If you are ruffling paper, it will pick up that sound while recording, so try to keep them out of the way. There is no tape for this machine, but the recorded item can be downloaded to your computer. The recorder is very easy to use. The buttons are very easy to figure out. I highly recommend it. Great quality for the money.

This records in .mp3 format, which means I no longer have to convert .wav files. It also has a removable microsd card, so I can put it directly into the computer and upload files. I use this to record classes for an online course. It captures the lecture quite well, and much of the discussion around the class. It is compact, so I can carry it everywhere. A valuable tool.

I love that this recorder has a USB port so that I can upload my files to my computer! The rechargeable batteries are a plus, too! Perfect for my classes!

The recorder works great lots of memory. Has a built in USB so u can easily charge or download what you've recorded. down side it's just a bit bulky.

Works well to have the USB / charging in one device so that there are not any extra cords to keep track of. Has a rather good range for picking up sound. Wasn't sure I was going to like it because I cannot clip it to anything like a curtain, outside chair arm, shirt placket, etc., but it has been easier to use than I expected. Downloads nicely too.

I bought this for my wife to use on a trip to an animal refuge. She wanted to record animal sounds at night. It records well and was easy for her to use. I found playback somewhat difficult. It is hard to find individual files on the device and the volume was poor. I downloaded the files to a computer and solved this issue.

Bought this to record lectures in my college classes, and it does a great job of picking up voices. I bought a microphone for recording phone conversations and it worked very well!

I use this great recorder for college. It’s great I can always go back to check or supplement my notes. I use it for reminders too. It was easy to learn to operate.

Fit in the pocket and easy to operate. Pick up all the sounds and in great for recording.
