I got a great deal on this movie at Bestbuy. Two bluray movies with ultra violet for $10. Definitely a great purchase.

Olympus Has Fallen is nonstop action with a main character you connect with from the start, and full of twists that you don’t see coming.

Good movie worth buying if its on sale or if you are just an action fan

This movie has plenty of action and is a great couch & popcorn movie.

I think people often get confused that if they like a movie, its good. No! A lot of people liked Dumb and Dumber. That was a funny but awful movie. I can nane a thousand more like the scary movie franchise. This is a case like that. It was action packed and kept you entertained but its no masterpiece. The Presidentail detail is one of the most highly trained guards on the planet. They would never mindlessly rush into a dangerous scenario. Thats why we have marine guards at the whites house and at embassies. They are some of the best trained and restrainted units in the military. They may just seem like statues who open doors for dignitaries, but mess with one and you be on the losing end. Also there's a lot more on sight just in case this happens then you can probably think there would be. Those whit house based marines not to mention a couple hundred thousand of soldiers detailed to bases in Norfolk, Quantico and many other military bases with in a stones through of the whitehouse would dealt with outside attack while the Secret Service would focus only on the President. Not the outside threats and they wouldn't rush outside to fight. I'm not asking for all out realism, but this makes not just the people in charge. Who lets face it are dumb. But enlisted soldiers and Secret Service Presidential detail. Look completely incompetent. They are human and can be, but they are well trained and armed. With weapons that are special made and classified. They also have failsafe after failsafe in place. For every scenario. The number of ways the president can flee is unknown but some say its not short of a dozens. So i wish they would of take information on whats publicly known about the white house, the secret service and protocols. Then wrapping wrapped those real life things in the movie. They cover maybe 2.

Good basic action flick; plot is as expected but enjoyable. Good price.
