I purchased this on the advice of the Best Buy sales rep. who said the camera took great underwater pics. It seems to be one of the better ones they had for sale so I went with it. I was in Puerto Rico and we were snorkeling on Culebra and first I noticed the battery did not last long at all. It did last while we were snorkeling but if we were out for 20-30 minutes longer it would have been dead. When we got back to our condo I uploaded the pics on my computer and was extremely disappointed in how green the pics were. I put the setting on iA, intelligent auto, since there was no actual "underwater" setting. i assumed since it was designed for use under water that it naturally would take great pics underwater. Well, I was wrong. While the pictures were clear, the green color in all of them was disappointing. Even after I tried to edit them that could only do so much. I contacted support and they said "it was user error" and I said how could that be if I had it set to auto for the best pic in the current environment? Of course they blamed me so of course I returned the camera and will never purchase anything with the Olympus name. I would purchase something other than this camera for sure.

We needed a new camera for underwater shots. Have only tested it in the pool so far - pretty good but low light shots aren't great

I bought this camera for my 9 year old. He is able to operate the camera without any issues. Good quality for kids or a first camera.

This camera was a great buy. I bought this for my 10 year old daughter and she's been taking awesome pics ever since. Love It!!

I am an avid diver and snorkeler and was looking for a great underwater to use. I read the reviews and everything pointed to this camera but when I used it underwater on the correct underwater settings the videos and pictures had a horrible greenish tint. I played around with the settings and even set it to Auto, which should make the camera choose the best setting for the surroundings but it was the same. On land the pics were fine but this is not a good underwater camera.

Amazing pictures but the phone is SUPER bulky and the white color is only on the front so it looks cheap and out of place.

I bought it specificly because I was going on vacation and needed something that was waterproof and took good quality pictures. I made an excellent choice. Money well spent for sure.

We love to go on adventures wether it is in the sand or down the snow slopes. Whichever direction we go we need a camera that can go with us and this one does just that.

Wanted a camera for underwater pictures that was uncomplicated. This fit the bill. The "Selfie" screen and button worked well for pictures in remote locations. Overall a simple uncomplicated camera that downloads easily to your phone for immediate sharing. Both my children have already borrowed it for their vacations over their big bulky Nikon's and Go Pros.

Very pleased with this camera. Takes great under water pictures as well as out of water. Battery seems to hold up great as well. I would recommend this camera to friends.

I like the flip screen and the overall features. However, even when following instructions to the T, water still got into the camera. I bought two of these and both times I had problems with water getting in the camera. Olympus exchanged because it was well within warranty, but I do not trust it near water again. Good for amateur bloggers, but NOT near water.

Bought this camera for camping and boating. Works well in tough environments and love that it's waterproof.

Camera is well made and durable.. It takes good quality pics and allows for small file sizes when needed..

I got this for my family vacation trip to the beach. Takes good underwater pictures and video, even in slow motion. Remote control is an awesome feature too.

This camera was easy to use and took beautiful under water pics. It was easy to clean and take care of.

Great camera and pictures only down side is after a year I had to buy a new battery as it quit charging.
