the camera its great for outdoor, weight its good.

Great camera for beginners, while waterproof the lens tends to hold water and if unaware and don't clean between photos... The images come out blurry once downloaded.

Its a decent camera but bad in low light and no RAW or controls over aperature and stuff. Wait for tg-5

I wanted this for an upcoming trip I have instead of taking my big Canon 6D digital SLR cameras too small and slow to respond for my needs

Used this camera in a mud run a few times and its going strong.. Only thing is the screen had a few scuffs on it but that's expected..

I purchased this camera for a 9 day canoe trip in Minnesota. Worked great until we tried to go swimming with it. The lens fogged up. I was able to dry the body off, open up the battery case and got it dry by sitting it in the sun, but the "fog" left a "residue" on part on the lens. Its too bad, because I really liked this camera and was hoping to use it on more adventure. BTW- I emailed Olympus and they NEVER responded to me.

I purchased an Olympus waterproof camera at BestBuy.com and when it arrived, I opened it and it was not working. It would only work if it was on the charger. Took it back to an actual Best Buy store and the camera was already discontinued. So we found another Olympus camera (this one in the review) with almost the same features and exchanged it. Tried the camera in store and it appeared to work fine. We got it for our cruise and on our first day of leaving the country, we took a couple pictures and all of a sudden it stopped taking pictures. It appeared the shutter button quit working. 2 Olympus cameras, one being $281 and $336 for the other and both cameras were bad product. I will never purchase this brand again. Ended up having to buy a 3rd camera for less than half the price on the cruise ship for $170 and it was FujiFilm. Worked perfect and took great pictures and videos underwater and still works today. Worse part is, due to being on a cruise ship out of country, I missed my 15 day return policy from Best Buy and couldn't get my money back for this product. I would not recommend this brand at all.

Started off as a great camera. The flip screen is awesome but don't take it more that 20 feet underwater. Had first issue around 25 feet, where the play back feature stopped working. Around 35 feet, moisture got into the lense and the and the zoom stopped working. Took about 24 hours to dry out and become functional againg. They say it is "water proof" up to 50 feet, I suspect it is not...

I purchased this camera for a rafting trip in Grand Canyon. After 2 hours on the river with very light water splashing the camera stopped working. Screen showed static and then just died. Nothing to record a trip that I had been waiting 10 years for. I went to Best Buy after trip and they stated they could do no refund since over 15 days and Elite membership did not account for this purchase. They didn't even apologize for faulty product. I would never buy anything from Best Buy again.

Picture quality is good, including underwater. BUT the LCD screen was EASILY scratched while in my pocket.

TENDS TO HAVE SOME PROBLEMS WITH PICTURE ERRORS. NOT SURE IF IT IS THE CAMERA OR THE SCANDISK.

This camera took blurry pics underwater and the water was crystal clear in the Caribbean. You couldn't see anything in the view finder. I tried returning but Best Buy said I missed the deadline even though I was on vacation. Needless to say, I canceled my Best Buy card and will shop at Amazon for all my purchases

Great camera. Love the filters. Pick it up if you dare to take pictures underwater.

The resolution underwater is not good. The screen got scratched too easily....
