An unacceptable noise is heard when zooming in the video mode. Extremely frustrating and in my opinion not acceptable on a camera at this pricepoint. I've never encountered this on other cameras.

Still the best weatherproof camera

The first one lasted 5+ years of hard use before failing. The second one is still working, but this year's model is so much faster when turning it on and waking it up. With each model year, there are more and more adjustments one can make, which is always welcome.

Camera was really great, easy to use and I can't wait to use it again!

Not the best camera

Takes forever to charge not user friendly not the best pictures. It's past the time I can return so I can't return. I hate it.

Great camera for a variety of shots.

The special settings for portraits, cuisine, action and special lighting situations take a variety of great pictures out of the water. Optional zoom lens gives you 8X zoom. It would be fabulous if you could get to 16X.

No what I had hoped for

For me, that is a big deal. I also have the TG-4 which does date stamp. For my line of work, that is a big negative for this Olympus TG-5 camera.

Underwater camera

Disappointed in what appears to be maximum depth for the camera. Much less than other under water cameras I have had.
