Excellent Computer

major issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This model has several issues with it, first it is supposed to be 4k UHD compatible but will not allow you to view full screen on full UHD so a lower resolution of computer is required. Second a forced windows update took over 10 hours and still did not update until turning computer off manually and turned back on before update would complete. Third the computer screen locks up turning solid black (not screen saver mode), it will not recognize the mouse or the keyboard entries leaving yet again the only solution to be turn off manually turn back on. All setting were set to never turn off computer during usage or idle time with screen savor set for 3 hours idle time. Also when turning computer on it takes a very long time to turn on even after booting up and you click to open web browser it takes 5 minutes for browser to open. HP support nor Geek Squad support could fix the problems. Geek Squad wanted the $49.99 or whatever it is for a home visit to try to fix it, silly me I was under the impression that I paid for geek squad to eliminate home support charges but that is not the case. This issue is not an isolated issue because it happened on 2 different computers of the same make and model. Now best buy wants me to pay return shipping for something that does not work right. Would give ZERO stars but that was not an option.
