Nice gaming device Z

I bought this for my son on Black Friday. Got a good discount. My son is happy.

When I decided to purchase this computer I knew I would be buying two of them. I get them both home and upon setting them up one works perfectly and the other gives me the beeping error for critical failure. I take it back and exchange it for an identical PC, but get the same error. K call the store and they told me bring that one back for a replacement, but I asked them to test it before taking it out of the store as it was a 45 min drive one way to the closest Best buy. I get to the store and we test the last one in stock, and wouldn't you know... critical failure. After speaking with the Dell customer support the guy tells me it's like playing Russian roulette buying an Omen PC as the critical failure is very common. The one I have still works great, but for the second the store gave me a deal on a better Cyber Power PC for my troubles.

Okay first of all I'm very disappointed of this PC, bought this during black Friday 2018 at my local BB @ 899.00 bucks plus tax, a total of $974.00. I was thinking one day before buy this to build a new gaming PC so I went online and quoted all the pieces to have my own build, It was around 1k USD (With out considering the graphic card, as I want the RTX 2070 or 2080 I'm not considering this on my initial budget to make a fair comparison vs this PC). So leaving the story behind I went to this BB and saw the deal, did a quick review on the specs of this and since It was not on the display shelf I decided to take the risk and buy it with out thinking it two times. Took this thing to home and started to download all my stuff in to this PC as well as installing my 2TB backup drive in to this PC. What a bad surprise I had when I've open the lid. Saw a very cheap Mini ATX Mobo that do not have expansion slots (others than one extra SATA port), only one additional PCI slot available at this PC is and its being blocked by the graphic card, so basically you will never use that slot because you have to take off the graphics which is not an option. The worst: No optical audio so I was frustrated because Im not able to use my sound bar, but realized that It has BT so decided to pair with my sound bar, terrible experience, sound is delayed 1 sec, tried with another BT speakers, same happened not a big deal I can get a 3.5 mm speakers with 5.1 surround, next think that amazed, me took a look at the cooling system, it basically do not have one !, It has the embedded fan for the heat sink of the processor and one little fan at the back (that is smaller than the one's of the current market PC fans), so basically do not expect much on the overclocking side or even gaming with out overclocking, if you are in to it yo will have to buy the AIO water cooling that can be adapted at the top of the case (But being realist, for PC that costed around 1k you will expect more) Tried some games, Fornite on Ultra runs fine, LOL on highest graphics, COD MW3 and BOP 3, on highest graphics that will run just fine, decided to push more this PC by playing heavier graphic games, as I'm an RPG guy decided to install Black Desert (A MMO That has a very good graphics) and guess what, the PC was not able to handle the graphics on high or ultra, so I had to decrease to mid settings in order to play, as this game requires a lot of GPU and CPU, this computer after 40 minutes of constant playing went insanely heath reaching over 70 to 80 Celcius which is crazily insane for the two stock fans that were not able to handle this environment circumstances. So after 4 days of giving a try I decided to return it back, I mean for the same amount of Money I could have built a 100% better PC. Ahhh also remember ram on this system is 2666 MHZ !! In my very personal opinion this PC Do not worth the money even when its on discount. At the end I took the store credit and decided to build my own system, current specs are RYZEN 7 2700X + Crosshair VI Mobo + Corsair RGB LED 16 GB DDR4 3000 MHZ + Crosair crystal temper glass case + 1 TB Samsung SSD + RGB 750Watt termaltake PSU + AIO RGB Crosair water cooling system, I build all this with the original $899 + Taxes spent still thinking to buy the RTX 2070 or 2080 will make final decision this week, but well bottom line, with the money spent on this HP Omen I have built a 100% better system in all ways, also it will look insanely good with all the LED's as well as the case is crystal temper glass so its a monster killer and now Im 100% satisfied.

Runs very hot. otherwise a very good deal and price for a solid PC
