Got mine for less than a $1000, noting compares until the $1500+ range.

For the price I am shocked there is no CD/DVD drive - all lower priced models had one, so when a person pays more for performance they can't play their music cd or movie DVD? What the heck? I almost bought one priced $120 less but decided with my image editing software and multi-tasking it would be worth paying $120 more - now I have to pay more for an external CD/DVD. Not everyone who wants performance only plays games and nothing else. This should be in LARGE print for those upgrading and used to all computers having this very basic feature. I have 2 software I can't find a download without re-purchasing but I have the software disk. Useless

I bought two of these, one for my kids and one for me. Both are having weird problems like keyboard locking up after switching users, audio not working after watching one youtube video, monitor flashing, PC powering off, etc. Contacted HP direct they helped a bit with doing a bios upgrade BUT still having problems on both. They asked where I bought them and I asked why. Well it turns out Bestbuys rec'd shipments with a high number of defects. The answer, take them back and exchange them and hope you got two (in my case) non-defective ones. I inquired what if I get defective ones again? HP's answer is then they would ship me two direct from them. Unbelievable!!! DO NOT BUY ONE OF THESE!!!! (or two) :(

Every day, the computer refused to start and just beeped. I had to to unplug the computer and then hold down the start button for 15 seconds -daily, on a brand new machine. I can't imagine what else would happen. I returned it. I found many other reviews of people letting Best Buy repair and or upgrade it then it continued to have problems and of course remained a lemon. HP support told me that a number of these computers are bad....

Lovely Quick shipping BestBuy. But this computer is something bed. During the game, the screen often stops for 10 seconds or more. It seems to be a problem with the graphics card. Every time the game is frozen, the screen is frozen, and when the fan is operated, the screen works again.

Just bought for $764 open box, got it home, turned it on and it just beeps. Highly disappointed in Best Buy right now. They obviously didn’t even check it out after the person returned it.
