    Another Tarantino Classic

I really didn't expect much from this film. I had seen the previews and I wasn't wowed, so I waited and took a chance on the DVD which was offered at a very reasonable price. I was pleasantly surprised. Quentin Tarantino has captured the feel of 1969 Los Angeles, and his well cast group of actors brought their "A Game" here. Brad Pitt is exceptional and DiCaprio gives a brilliant performance. Margo Robbie is perfect as Sharon Tate. This film has intense drama blended with some nice humor and multiple cameo appearances to boot. The Manson Family is not the focus of the film, but they are evident throughout and a few unexpected plot twists make this one of 2019's best films.

I really loved this movie. It gives a look at how Hollywood was like back then. I thought their was a really great cast and crew and a lot of great performances. I thought the plot of the movie in general was really good and interesting. This movie was very entertaining to watch and without a doubt another one of the best movies of the year and one of the greatest movies of Quentin Tarantino that you can add to the list of all the other movies he’s directed.

this has so much replay value because it has so many scenes that are not only great fun to watch but so easy on the eyes with great production sets, scenes, colors and acting...Brad Pitt steals every scene he's in and is a show case for his charisma on screen while Leonardo DiCaprio is his stellar self as usual...definitely one I am glad to have as a steelbook....one of Tarantino's best...it is also rumored he will release Once Upon A Time In Hollywood's 4-Hour Cut!

Once Upon A Time in Hollywood deservedly received multi nominations and awards. It is a fictional movie which focuses on 1969 Hollywood/LA (including the fact based true horrifying Charles Manson cult Sharon Tate murders) and is a nostalgic view of a what some called "the golden age of Hollywood". The standouts are writer/director Quentin Tarantino , and actors Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt and includes the last film performance of Luke Perry.

There was nothing I disliked about the film...including its long running time. I am glad that some extra footage was added and released with this DVD. Tarantino does a great job with the various locales, the set design, the clothing and the cars in this film-I think that's exactly how the 60's looked-even though I wasn't born yet! Pitt and DiCaprio complement each other so well. Watch this film the best ending ever-only wish it could've happened this way in reality!

Let's be honest. We know this is a great movie, but if you come to Best Buy for physical media, you want those steelbooks. That's the main event here. Some of them have boring stock art that barely differentiate them from the standard UHD release. This release, conversely, is a standout. The art looks great and the inside has a nice mock up of a Hollywood Hills sign. Brandy the dog stars on the backside. It's a nice looking set for any home blu-ray shelf.

Nice quality steelbook for this great Tarantino film, I won't write a review of the movie but if you're looking at this item then you want the collectible steelbook. This is quite a popular steelbook that sold out initially at the regular retail price and was out of stock for a very long time, luckily bestbuy has recently re-stocked it to give everyone another chance at picking it up. I'd recommend adding it to the collection.

What a masterpiece! Quentin Tarantino scored for this one. If your a big fan of Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Kill Bill, and Reservoir Dogs. Without a doubt, you'll love Once Upon a time in Hollywood. The pacing was a little slow then expected but the scenes were still great cinematography. Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio are the perfect duo! they both make this movie. Also a Satisfying ending you'll never forget. My experience overall is highly reccomend.

This movie was amazing in theaters, and now owning this copy has updated my Tarantino collection. A big addition that was greatly appreciated, was the deleted scenes, which were interesting enough. Another great thing about this purchase is the digital downloads. I was not expecting this, but thanks to it, I now have the movie on my phone as well as having a dvd and blueray. Great purchase at a more than affordable price.

We saw this twice in the theaters, Couldn't wait for it to come out on DVD so we could buy it, The extra 20 minutes added were a disappointment. But, I don't think that affected the cost of the DVD. Pitt got a well-deserved Golden Globe for supporting actor last week. This and Pulp Fiction are my favorite Tarantino flicks. I only wish this fairy tale was how the Manson thing really ended up. That would have been the best ending of all.

    Tarantino’s Dazed and Confused

Tarantino is a product of Los Angeles and here he’s able to express his love for the city and its kooky inhabitants to the fullest. Image is a bit darker than I think it probably should be, but otherwise colors are vivid and film grain is well-preserved. The 7.1 mix is solid, tho surprising they didn’t include the Atmos mix that was created for theatrical (Tho they didn’t include thIs Dolby vision for the disc either)

I’m a huge Tarantino fan and this one was a lot of fun (especially the last act). Great story, beautiful direction, cinematography, writing, and performances all around. In my personal top three Tarantino films behind IB and Django Unchained. I hope to see Pitt win the Oscar this year for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal as Cliff Booth; stoke every scene he was in and elevated the film to be the masterpiece that it is today.

Two words: Quinton Tarantino. Six more: Brad Pitt. Margot Robbie. Leonardo Dicaprio. I got out of collecting physical media in 2016. Digital media was making it's move. In September 2018, I began purchasing SteelBooks. Their art and collectability are great. I've found whole communities online dedicated to these things. I knew I had to get this Tarantino movie when it came out on 4K UHD SteelBook.

Every frame of Tarantino's fairy tale of old Hollywood is a postcard to the days of classic cinema. An engaging tale of an aging TV Star and his BFF stuntman that meanders it's way into the lore of the Manson Family cult's lead up to the Sharon Tate murders is told with the pacing, drama, intrigue, comedy and suspense of many movies from Hollywood's golden years. The ending is a payoff worth waiting for. God damned hippies...

Tarantino does it again. In this re-imagining of Hollywood history with a Tarantino twist at the end. The main character is the time...1969. The actors are just living life and life all Tarantino characters you enjoy their dialogues and monologues as they navigate through the world re-imagined by Tarantino. Must see...you will appreciate the artistic craft that continually evolves in each of Tarantino’s films.

Tarrantino doesn't make bad films. I was a little worried when I saw Sharon Tate as a character for obvious reasons, but this film was a "what could have been" approach. I thought it was brilliant. LDC and Brad Pitt were outstanding. I cant remember laughing as much in any previous film of his as I did with this one. Randy the dog was pretty awesome too! Do yourself a favor and buy this film. Watch it often. 5 stars.

My wife and I spent 10 years in Santa Monica, where entertainment rules the roost. So many arrive from small towns nation-wide, but only a handful make it. The vast majority live in low-rent housing and work in restaurants, hoping to be discovered. Finally, when a wrinkle is discovered or the person gets too full of themselves, it’s over. All that is to say that this movie does a great job of depicting it!

The movie is great. Took a second watch with the correct expectations before I appreciated this film. Don't expect the over the topness from QT but expect the quality of dialogue and the acting and you will be pleased. Leo knocks it out of the park as always. Acting as a washed up actor was masterclass. Love the steelbook case for it, goes great with my other QT steelbooks.

This movie is awesome. Leonardo and brad Pitt kill it in this. This movie is almost like a hangout and chill type film with a lot of stuff going on that really doesn’t lead to anywhere. But the vibe and setting is incredible and has a great twist and ending. Very funny film as well Seeing these two actors on the same screen is incredible Tarantino kills it again

Best QT film especially if you have fond memories or just want to know more about that era of the late 1960s - the film depicts a unique time in American history and although a few things are slightly out of their proper time for 1969 it is a general homage to LA in the 1967-69 timeframe. Actors A+. Music and radio spots A+, Art Dept recreation of Los Angeles in the late 60's A+, Ending A+.
