So didn't expect this to be as good as it was. After the initial release of this item that I missed out on I got lucky that they released the steelbook version at a great deal so had to pick it up and add it to my collection. Loved the story and all the actors did a fantastic job as expected.

Very good. Not your typical Tarantino violence. It really brought to life the Manson murders in a unique way for those of us not alive at the time. Pitt should win every award he is nominated for in this movie. He also should have been billed as the star and not supporting actor. His role was much more interesting.

    A good 4k transfer

Filmed in 35mm, 8mm, and digital. The 4k transfer is crisp and clear, but it wont be one you would use to demo the display. The best looking scenes are driving through Hollywood blvd and the flame thrower scene is gorgeous. There are some fun extras added here as well. You can get away with buying the Blu Ray copy and save a few bucks if you dont need to own it on 4k.

I can't really give anything five stars that takes a true story and twists it around to defame some, invent new characters, or confuse the truth. But as fiction I guess it's okay, as long as the producers make every effort to let younger people know that this isn't what really happened. Otherwise, the image quality was beautiful. Excellent cinematography, excellent lighting and overall an extremely well done movie.

If you love Tarantino, you'll probably love this. If you don't, it'll probably bore you to tears. That said, I'm a big QT fan and by now you pretty much know what to expect. Definitely a slow burn, but worth it. It's fresh, but as of now, I'd rank this 4th behind Jackie Brown, Pulp Fiction and Django Unchained.

Nothing like I thought it would be! Turned out really good! One of Quinten Tarantino's best. Long movie but well paced and the music was from a great time ,1969. So much happened that year! Loved the Bruce Lee scene and Bar Ranch scene with the Red headed guy! I could keep going about this movie!

A well directed and acted movie. They did a fantastic job of recreating 1969 Hollywood and bringing some of the characters of that time to life. The extra content at the end of the movie did a wonderful job of telling how the movie was made.

Love this movie. The 4K is nice, but there are some parts where it looks over-saturated and darker than normal. The grain isn't too much and the detail looks very nice and sharp. The steelbook is cool but could have been better. Would definitely recommend to movie and Tarantino fans.

If you’re a Tarantino fan you already know you have to add this to your collection. This movie is more of a “slow-burner” compared/relative to the director’s most recent works, but still shines with the performances of the lead actors. Visual candy for sure with how great the movie looks top to bottom. It’s a great movie to chill back and enjoy as you journey back in time to Hollywood with the “Tarantino Twist.”

Quentin Tarantino has done it again! His unique style of storytelling is dialogue driven and yet you become invested in every character and where the story will take you. His blend of action and characters is fully displayed in Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio's portrayals of Hollywood movie stars.

Brad and Leo are excellent in this film. Loosely follows accurate historical events. The end is a huge switch from what really happened to an alternate wished for ending. For a QT film the gore and violence is reserved until the end. Then it unleashes and really detracts from the film.

Tarantino certainly is maturing as a filmmaker. This movie is a love letter to old Hollywood and possesses still the wild antics one has come to expect from a Tarantino piece. I believe this may be the finest movie from the filmmaker yet and with beautiful packaging, it’s an easy purchase to make.

Good movie. Not the typical Tarantino gore-fest, but certainly has his stamp on it. It’s basically two movies: a classic western, and an alternate version of actual events in Hollywood around 1970.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was not what I was expecting but I still throughly enjoyed this film. Leo and Brad make this movie work with their chemistry and strong performances. The 3rd act is classic Quentin it's amazing I loved the ending! I think this film gets better and better with each viewing.

I'll admit: I wasn't the biggest fan of this movie in theaters the first time around. But it was a movie that sits with you and by the second time seeing it, it became one of my favorite Tarantino films due to how different it is while also being so similar in aspects.

Re-live the events of late 1960s Hollywood through the eyes of director Quentin Tarrentino in this cinematic masterpiece. Wonderful performances, excellent cinematography and a slew of twists and turns in this imaginative screenplay make for one of the year's best films.

I've enjoyed most of Tarantino's films and this one was no exception. In fact, it is my favorite of his so far. The acting by Leo and Brad are outstanding. His movies always run a bit long but I never felt the film drag. Pretty good job on extras as well. So, thumbs up to this film!

This was another great from director Tarantino. In fact, one of his best. A ton of great actors and actresses in it. He really did a great job on doing a period piece for 1969 Hollywood, CA. The sets were spot on and he captured the essence of Hollywood America at that time.

Quentin Tarantino's love letter to late-60s Hollywood is sheer perfection. Top notch performances by Bradd Pitt and Margot Robbie anchor a film that's nostalgic, horrifying, evocative, blisteringly funny, and impeccably filmed. Brandy the dog remains this film's secret weapon.

I am not the biggest Quentin Tarantino fan, but I love this movie. The "what if" factor surrounding the Manson murders is what makes it for me. Not to mention the performances of DeCaprio and Pitt. We all know the story, so you can really relate on some level. Worth the money in my opinion.
