Like most of Tarantino's films, it had a slow start and took you into an era of golden age Hollywood. It follows a story of Leo's character a failed actor who shined early. A bodyguard and right hand man played by Brad, a few cameos. Also references to his other film, overall pick this up if you're a die hard fan of his films.

A wonderful look back at LA in the late 60's.

The back grounds are right out of the 60's. The music is right out of the 60's. The clothes are right out of the 60's. Getting the picture? But the story is so much more than that. Several story lines running parallel to each other until the end. When it first came out, the critics played up the Sharon Tate murders as a big plot line. It's not. That part of the film is about 30% of the screen time. Recommended.

Quentin Tarantino only gets better with age (assuming you like in some capacity what he's been doing for the last 30 years). The Blu-Ray is gorgeous, and I got a digital copy so I can watch it on the run. What's not to love?

I had high expectations for this movie and was not disappointed. Seeing it a second time was even better than the first. Patience is needed as Quentin weaves a yarn. Sure, it is a little slow in this age of super hero and science fiction movies. The acting, the music, the story, and the depiction of the times was wonderful.

Quentin Tarantino just doesn't make bad films. Period. This is another hit form the master himself, a film that feels like a love letter to a bygone era in Hollywood. The cast is bananas. The cinematography gorgeous. The soundtrack is alive and electric. Of course the dialogue is always fun and engaging and 100 percent Tarantino.

My personal favorite film from Tarantino. It's very much an homage to the entertainment industry of the 60s. The performances are all excellent, the characters are fun, and the dialogue is fantastic. Some might think it's boring compared to other films made by Tarantino, but I was thoroughly engaged the whole time.

Very good. Not your typical Tarantino violence. It really brought to life the Manson murders in a unique way for those of us not alive at the time. Pitt should win every award he is nominated for in this movie. He also should have been billed as the star and not supporting actor. His role was much more interesting.

Boring movie. I expected more from Quinton T. The only reason I gave it three stars is because of Leo and Brad being in it.

I have a love/hate relationship with Tarantino movies as I either like them or I don't. This movie was pretty highly rated across the board, but it didn't do much for me. It was overly long (2 hrs 41 mins) and for much of the movie not much happened until the end. The acting was great and the 60's scenery was very well done. I almost couldn't make it to the end when things really started to happen.

It was a good movie, not great. A lot of great actors in the movie. I thought it would be a bit better after all the hype.

Nothing like I thought it would be! Turned out really good! One of Quinten Tarantino's best. Long movie but well paced and the music was from a great time ,1969. So much happened that year! Loved the Bruce Lee scene and Bar Ranch scene with the Red headed guy! I could keep going about this movie!

Good movie. Not the typical Tarantino gore-fest, but certainly has his stamp on it. It’s basically two movies: a classic western, and an alternate version of actual events in Hollywood around 1970.

A well directed and acted movie. They did a fantastic job of recreating 1969 Hollywood and bringing some of the characters of that time to life. The extra content at the end of the movie did a wonderful job of telling how the movie was made.

Good movie but it’s too long. Could’ve been shorter and still be a great movie. Didn’t get to be intense towards the end

Brad and Leo are excellent in this film. Loosely follows accurate historical events. The end is a huge switch from what really happened to an alternate wished for ending. For a QT film the gore and violence is reserved until the end. Then it unleashes and really detracts from the film.

I'll admit: I wasn't the biggest fan of this movie in theaters the first time around. But it was a movie that sits with you and by the second time seeing it, it became one of my favorite Tarantino films due to how different it is while also being so similar in aspects.

This was another great from director Tarantino. In fact, one of his best. A ton of great actors and actresses in it. He really did a great job on doing a period piece for 1969 Hollywood, CA. The sets were spot on and he captured the essence of Hollywood America at that time.

Picked up for about $14.99, a great deal. Tarantino is pretty much always excellent and Once Upon A Time is no different. Less aggressive than some past work but in no way does that make it a lesser work. Looks and sounds great, and the digital copy comes in handy for on-the-go.

Interesting story about a fading actor (DiCaprio) and his stuntman double (Pitt) coming to grips with the changing ways of moving making in the late 60's. Great storyline and performances. A keeper with a good re-watch value.
