Does the job, but...

That's why MP3's and streaming is better. My sister has a ton of CD's and likes to listen to a series of songs and mix them up. This does that well.

We are planning a move and will leave it packed until we're settled into our new home. Based on previous purchases with Best Buy, I expect it will be fine I would recommend Best Buy to friends. I was fortunate enough to have and old sony surrounds sound system in the garage I could use.

cumbersome to operate

My original Technics unit owned 20 years worked as well but was easier to operate. Onkyo should have copied those ergonomics. I recommend it as long as one accepts this shortcoming.
