Got this to replace my old Harmon Kardon CD changer. CD changers are hard to find these days, and this one fits my needs perfectly!

seems to be the only 6 CD changer left, work great

Right out of the box, this player would not read a single CD. I tried a dozen different discs. Every time it would try to read, then eventually display track 99. Googled the problem and it is apparently not uncommon with Onkyo players and has been happening for years. I'll be returning this piece of junk and ordering a Yamaha or Sony player.

It doesn’t always recognize a cd in disc 1’s spot. Sometimes you can skip discs and come back to it and it recognizes it. A little frustrating. But when it does play, it works great.

The very first day I got this player I had a turntable jam that took me hours to fix, and it has happened again since. The nests for the CDs are so shallow that the CDs slip out easily and cause a jam. Once jammed, it is difficult to unjam without causing damage. It requires plugging and unplugging several times to that the startup mechanism allows extra movement of some sort. I shouldn't have to do this with technology that is more than 25 years old. Adding to the problem is the fact that the button for rotating the turntable when it's open will never rotate all the way around, making it impossible to fill all six slots on the turntable.

As with all CD players they are oversized for most cabinets. I had to cut the back out of my cabinet so glass doors would close.Player works well though.

I had a 10 year old Onkyo with 6 disc player that crashed a couple of years ago and have been looking ever since for a replacement. Thought they had stopped making them rendering my hundreds of CDs useless. Happy to have this replacement but 4 stars because the sound isn't quite as good as my old one but glad to have it just the same.

Expected a highly-rated product, but found some play back problems. I have sent the player back for warranty repairs.

Unfortunately, we had issues with 2 units back to back. Thankfully, Best Buy refunded our money after the 2nd failure. We echo the comments of some other reviews in that we don't see how this product is getting such good ratings. Something is wrong with the design, manufacture, and/or quality control of this product. The first unit had some probable internal damage based on Onkyo's assessment. The CDs randomly skipped. We passed all troubleshooting steps. When the CDs turned there was a rotational ticking sound. In addition, there were other strange internal noises. Onkyo said none of it should be heard. Hence, there assessment of internal damage possibly from shipping/handling. We were no longer able to return the product so we did an exchange for a new replacement from Best Buy. The second unit's carousal kept locking up. After this, Best Buy agreed to a full refund. Thankfully!

Great individual player if you have alot of CD's to play that you didn't throw away but you also need to add equiptment to for sound as this does not have sound adjustment!

It's much larger in foot print than any component I have. When it started to show problems loading discs only a few days into my purchase, I returned it. The 6 disk convienience is not worth the size or performance. It sounded no better than a $30 DVD player.

This was a replacement for one that stopped working. It's nice for those times you want to play a CD.

Use this item many many times the sound is exceptionally good we would recommend to all my friends

At last I can enjoy my cd's. It's like back to the eighties only with much better sound quality.

I have not been able to use it yet, not installed.

Hooked it up and it had an error code that there was a mechanical problem. So I sent it back. Fixed my old 6 disc Sony. I'm sure the unit would be fine on one that was working

Product is as shown. 5 disc carousel works very smoothly. Sound is awesome. No complaints !

A bit more complicated than it should be and having an issue with "skipping".

Plays well, sounds great. If you have a cd collection, this is a first rate player

1st one I had to take back because cd's being held. 2nd doing same thing.
