Does everything well

That one was over 25 years old and still going strong. This one is a different design, in that it has a platter that holds 5 cd's, plus one in the player, rather than a cartridge which holds 6 cd's. It is very smooth operating and very quiet when switching cd's. The whole thing is very logical and the layout/function of the remote is excellent as well. I bought Onkyo because of the quality and reliability of my last one and I expect the same out of this one.
