This is a great reciver for the price. It dosent have a ton of options but if yoy like to watch movies in 7.1 with dolby atmos without spending a lot then this is a great choice.

It work for about 30 days then the HDMI connection stop producing sound. I Returned it best buy and got a new one...lets see what happens

We bought this when our old Pioneer receiver died. It is easier to operate and the sound quality it puts out is much better.

This receiver is very good but for the high price, you would expect it to have remote control. It does have capability for adding one but that is extra.

I am using the receiver to power speakers out in my pool house/ shop. Very clear sound and very easy to set up.

I have a multi zone setup in my home with speakers all around the home. So I have taken on for Living room where I have home theater and another for other zones . It was working perfectly well.

Unfortunately the first one a purchased had a problem. The second worked great it is everything I was expecting. My last receiver was large and heavy this one is more compact and lighter.

have good luck with onyko products last unit still working after 7 years but needed extra hdmi port so felt it was time to uograde.

I purchased this to replace a damaged older but more expensive model. Although there were not as many outputs this worked for me.

Happy with the brand, just wore out my old one and was happy to find the same style so we don't have to relearn everything.

It's very simple to use and it's pretty cool to touch. Eat to setup and nice sound.

The guys in the store showed me how to hook it up and calibrate it. It was so easy and all the 4k works awesome. I am not tech savvy but they made me feel like I was.

I purchased this receiver black friday 2015. By the time I got all of my speakers and tv home, mounted and setup it was around christmas time. My first receiver lasted a few weeks, working great producing great sound through my klipsch speakers and everything was awesome. A few weeks in, around Jan 9th, when I went to bed one night it worked great, next morning there was no sound through cable input, and through game input it was staticy and popping. I went and exchanged the recevier Jan 9th 2016 for a new one, figured it was just defective. When exchanging it, I bought the 4 year protection plan. (black friday 2015 receiver was 249.99, protection plan was only $40 for 4 years at this price point.) I'm happy I bought the plan. This week, Wednesday, February 22nd 2017, the receiver was working perfectly when I went to bed again. Thursday the 23rd, same exact issue happened with same inputs. I called Onkyo to see if this is common, thinking maybe they had a manufacturing issue and made effort to fix it in newer models. He basically told me to get a different model with my protection plan if it's an option. So this weekend I will be exchanging this receiver for a different brand. I always thought highly of Onkyo, so I'm pretty disappointed. I loved the receiver when it worked correctly. I'm undecided which receiver I will switch to at this point. Also, I never utilized the full capability of the receiver, I only ever used it in 5.1, and I had a few inputs used, roku, xbox one, and cable.

Our receiver broke so we got this one on a Christmas deal. It has enough HDMI inputs and works perfectly for our home theater system! No complaints!

It's sound great and extra feature but hdmi issue is still there.

Didn't understand that Zone B is not the same as Zone 2. Will be returning this one for the 646

Easy to hook up, sounds great and works well with my Bose speakers.

Upgraded my TV and along with it my receiver to match the system up. The Onkyo receiver I had was six years old and did not meet the Ultra High def TV requirements. Have been very happy with the performance and quality, and it was on sale. The service was also excellent.
