I looked for a home theater quality stereo and found this Onkyo. Nice stereo.

I have been very happy with the sound quality and functionality of this unit

I bought these speakers to tame some bright Speakers...aka Klipsch and they did just that! Has an equalizer that I can full adjust to reduce the highs from them. Interface is as simple as it get. HAS SPEAKER B option and atmos! handles my 5.1.2 setup easily!

Enjoying our new 7.2 channel network and our surround sound all thru the house.

My last receiver was a Yamaha which worked great but I couldn't wait for it to fail so I could upgrade. I had heard of Onkyo from the tech guy Leo Laporte. Couldn't be happier with this product. It has all the modern features I needed.

We decided to try the Onkyo receiver and compare it to the Yamaha. We chose the Yamaha, because the Musiccast mobile app was easier to setup than Onkyo's app. The WIFI on this unit uses dual-band, where Yamaha's is not.

This receiver has it all... features, simple well designed remote, great price on sale. The 4K upconvert for our X1 rocks! Only issue is only 3 of 6 HDMI inputs are HDCP 2.2 but input switching takes care of that.

I sacrificed some watts per speaker for the availability that I have two optical inputs. Having several HDMI inputs is a plus. Only wish it had two HDMI outputs. Couldn't beat The open box price I got though.

It has a variety of options for Dolby Atmos, 4k up scaling works really well and it's very intuitive. I will update when I get a chance to set it up properly and play with it for a couple weeks.

I have the Polk T15 speakers for my 7.1 setup, not the best but good enough for me. Had to do a lot of adjustment to get the sound right.must adjust with most movie's, or other programing. Other then that very good RECIVER with bult in equlizer. (Bough on sell.

I'm using it as 5.2 Audio Receiver with my new LG OLED 65" TV and Harmony Elite and Amazon Echo Dot. It is working great with the new system responding to voice commands.

Needed an upgrade receiver for 4k OLD tv. A big difference from the current one we had. The only thing is we have noticed that the sound doesn't adjust to the volume on the commercials. The commercials are still louder than the actual tv show you are watching.

Sounds perfect for the money, I set it up in 5.1 with the pioneer system and it is a great experience for movies and gaming.

I replaced my old pioneer receiver with this one and the receiver is awesome with all newest features like DTS X etc. It is definitely better than my old receiver.

I have an Ultra HD Tv speakers are in the rear of the TV, Lousy sound, with this receiver and 6-speakers, it's like being in a theater... Great buy!!!
