Great Theater System

I has a great presence. We were upgrading a system that we had for 5 years and needed a new one. This one fit the bill. Our older system started malfunctioning and this was the perfect replacement.

Decent entry level receiver
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this to facilitate a Home Theater installation while waiting for Pre-amp processor/5 channel discrete amplifier to arrive. The unit has a lot of very nice feature for a sale price (that I paid at least) of $299.99. Like many multichannel receiver amplifiers they cannot produce the rated output on more than a couple channels simultaneously but the unit does have decent sound quality. The auto room equalization is also nice. The remote is intuitive. The unit only comes with a Basic manual and you have to download a complete manual with better descriptions of it's functionality. It also has most of the decoders and binding posts for speaker connections instead of spring loaded connections. Overall a decent unit for the money.

replaced older Onkyo unit
