fairly easy to use - just gotta figure out what you plugged things in to - no auto-scroll thru inputs if you select an empty one. good sound though.

All in one system for controlling your audio needs. Could use a little more bass in the system but has great quality.

I've had Onkyo receivers in the past and this one has the same great quality at a great price. Has the perfect mix of inputs for my home theater setup.

I bought this unit for the HDMI switching--but love everything about the unit. Great sound, very easy to use.

Good price for an HDMI receiver that provides 4 hdmi sources (with a couple analog options). Onkyo's look and functionality I like. Menu options make sense. HDMI passthrough is nice when you don't want to turn the receiver on. Doesn't have some of the extra features that the more expensive models have such as front input and network connection. But if you're looking for a receiver that matches the description, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I am not overly skilled at setting up audio equipment so I know I could get a lot more out of this unit. With that said, it is so nice to just have one unit that is like my Harmony remote and just handles everything. Fewer wires to the TV, good surround sound control, and pretty easy setup. The only thing I downgrade it for is because the instruction manual could be a lot better in helping a novice understand and use the different audio settings.

Double usage on this reciever have my exterior speakers hooked up to it and my outdoor TV surround does an awsome job. Great price too.

Lots of HDMI input and 1 out out to the TV. No more multiple HDMI cables running up to the TV. Great sound hooked up to our Bose speakers.

Paired with our Yamaha 5 speaker surround sound and Polk subwoofer the sound is amazing. Very easy set up and very easy to use.

I had a Yamaha system for 5 years that kept losing power and would power on eventually. Tried all sorts of repairs but still the same result. So, I decided to replace the unit. I looked at several manufacturers and came down to another Yamaha or the Onkyo. Doinf some research I discovered that Onkyo was more reliable. I have had this unit for 1 month and could not be more pleased. This unit is Ultra 4K ready and I must say that the picture through the ARC HDMI port is much sharper and with more depth.

My last Onkyo Receiver lasted lots of years. Hopefully this one does as well. Was very easy to set up as well. Price is great as well.

I only gave it 4 stars because I returned the first purchase because the sound occasionally went in and out and wouldn’t recognize the signal unless I lightly bumped the back of the receiver. Maybe something inside was loose. The second one seems to work well. It is a simple receiver so I don’t have to worry about someone accidentally changing the settings and spending much time to return it back to the desired settings.

Pleased with this radio over all. Set up was super easy and sound is great. My only issue is that you supposedly can use the App to play Pandora, Amazon Music and such but it either doesn't connect or when it does it frequently cuts out and sounds horrible. Going to try getting a RCA Adapter Cable and connecting an old tablet I don't use anymore to access those features. Hopefully the direct connection improves things.

Purchased this for my parents to upgrade their system. Great sound and easy to set up!!!
