Easy hook up clean look great sound alot of options

The amp is very much a modern hookup kind of unit and such things as VCR's and especially phonographs become problematic. I was ultimately able to get everything to connect and be useable but the phono will require some kind of pre-amp. Not a flexible, full-range hook-up unit but then, I see very few such amp/tuners unless you've got big bucks. As I said, it's adequate.

this is a good receiver for the money. I am using it for my patio syatem.

I bought this as my old home theater system bit the dust. I was looking for something that was reasonably priced and easy to setup and use. Indeed it was but the documentation that accompanied the unit is a bit lacking in detail on all the settings. no mater; accessing their website made it easier. I would recommend this to others

We have been using Onkyo receiver for over 5 years. Great sound quality for our primary resident's home theater. When we bought our vacation home recently, we went to Best Buy to get another Onkyo receiver for its consistently superior audio quality. We paired our receivers with Bose speakers in both homes. The sound quality is amazing!

Really good entry level receiver, would recommend for a 5.1 setup with decent speakers. Had a small issue with subwoofer connection hence the 4 star rating, make sure you purchase quality wire for best results.

This is easy to assemble and sounds good in our house

It takes a little while to customize the audio settings to fit your style. The process is well worth it. I started out with letting the stereo calibrate itself to the room. Then I went in and fine tuned the settings. Surround sound is rich, distinctive sounds are now clear. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I bought this primarily to connect a range of devices to a Sony Bravia TV. Does that well enough and surround sound speakers sound fine. I dislike, though, the remote, where the lettering is very difficult to read. As remote is used all the time, that's a negative to me.

This unit has it all! It has Bluetooth and the capabilities for three HDMI ports as well as hooking up your surroundsound music. it is so easy to use it is a pleasure to switch from one function to another The quality of the sound reproduction is excellent as well as the ability to control the loudness is precise

This amp provides everything you need for a home theater system without breaking the bank. Depending on the size of the room this amp has plenty of power. I cannot comment on the decoding capability of this amp because I have not hooked up any surround capability yet.

Onkyo's stereo reciever on it's own has blue-tooth hookup so all our devices can hook up easily. Our turn table wouldn't hook up to other systems due to it's USB hookup but Onkyo had the port. Plus, all of our old school RCA jacks for casette, cd, tv, dvd etc all have a port as well making this the perfect tuner/reciever.

Everything i was looking for, nice sound and easy setup

My TV is also my computer monitor. I used the receiver to connect/control the DVD player & Computer to the TV. Great audio.
