Customers are saying
Customers are satisfied with the sound quality, ease of use, and Bluetooth capabilities of the TX 5.2-Ch. 4K Ultra HD and 3D Pass-Through HDR Compatible A/V Home Theater Receiver. Many also appreciate the receiver's price and the range of features it offers, including 4K support and ample inputs. While some found the size to be a bit large, and a few experienced issues with bass and volume, the positive feedback on sound and ease of use outweighs these concerns. The setup process was also generally praised for its simplicity.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace a 20 year old receiver and because my son bought one. It was easy to hook up and worked well with out smart TV. It sounds great even with our old speakers. I like the option for different sound modes. I would certainly recommend this receiver.

Different music genres sound great; easy to set up
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The overall quality of Onkyo products are well known. The receiver feels as though it is manufactured out of high quality materials and will last. I purchased this item for music, primarily. The sound quality handles genres from acoustic to electronic to hip-hop with no problem. Solid purchase.

Very IMPRESSIVE
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a replacement receiver because my old one (20+ yrs old) went out. I am so impressed with how well it works and is able to power my entire surround sound both inside and out. I’ve got a total of 14 speakers that run off this receiver. Technology has come a long way.

||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this unit! My old Sony has run it's course and the rear channels had stopped working right, so I thought I would give this Onkyo a try and I an very happy. Onkyo Quality Affordable Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For years I was a Sony or Denon buyer, but started to look at the design and quality of Onkyo receivers. They are rock solid with excellent performance to price ratio. Compare the features and you will see that Onkyo audio products are the best in their price class.

Nice unit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted a simple receiver with blue tooth for our theater here at a local museum. This unit works great If I can only figure out a speaker for my phone that we could hook to the unit for meetings it will be perfect.

Good Value, but...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm limited in my choices of home theater equipment by the need for dual subwoofer jacks, so there were only two available at my store to choose from, and I'm not a great fan of Denon. You get a lot for your money with this receiver; the only real drawback is that you can't manually select a surround field - it detects whatever is available with the content and gives you only those as options. For some reason, the "Dolby Digital" processor is faulty: I've got my (small also Onkyo) center speaker cranked to maximum but there's barely any center input. My preferred default setting is "Dolby PLII Music," but that's apparently not an option on Netflix, because the receiver won't offer it up. It's a minor problem, but we watch a lot on Netflix. I just throw it onto five channel stereo and it's OK.

Great Sorrounding Sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Every time that I sit down to watch a movie, it feels like being at the movie theater. The sound is very neat and clear. You can feel the floor shaking from the woofer. I'm very please that I add this amplifier to my home theater.

Great receiver / amplifier
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have it connected to my 5 speakers that are embedded in my family room ceiling. It's okay, but better to step up to the TX-NR676
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No complaints with the SR373. Decent AV receiver. But, for $30 more you can get the TX-NR676 with more power, network connectivity, an superior AV functions. The SR373 does not have the ability to bi-amp your main speakers if they have that option. The NR676 does, and it uses an on-screen wizard to walk you through all of the important setup functions, and complete a listening test of all the speakers to be sure they are optimized for your setup. If none of that appeals to you then the SR373 is a fine receiver you'll be happy with. Otherwise, spend the $30 and step up. You won't regret it.

Solid Buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Recently purchased some speakers for a new turntable and needed a solid receiver to complete the package. I love that this is bluetooth and allows me to connect from my laptop, phone, ipad for easy streaming when I'm not listening to vinyls.

Perfect entery level 5.1 reciever
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked this up to replace an older Onkyo 5.1 reciever that did not have any of the modern features such as HDMI in or out, blue tooth, arch as well as a LFE out. I seen this unit at Best Buy and was happy to see that it offered all of the connections I needed. I was also happy it had two LFE outputs because I am running two subwoofers and I did not want to use a y splitter. So far I have really been enjoying this unit. Setup was fast and easy and the auto setup was practically spot on when compared to my own measurements. The sound quality is clean and clear, and it does offer enough watts to run all of my speakers with out having to come anywhere close to maxing out the unit. I am really happy this unit runs very cool compared to my older unit even after watching multiple movies or long periods of music listening. It also sounds terrific for playing games.

Not bad... not great, but not bad
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The receiver looks good and was pretty easy to set up. But I'm having some issues with all of the functions sending signals to the TV. I need to read the manual in a little more detail and hopefully I can figure it out.
