Good but not great entry level receiver.

Good surround system

The two pre sub out is my favorite part. Fairly complicated piece, be sure to keep the owners manual as you WILL have to refer to it for best installation and running all the bells and whistles. Looks good, and performs well.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm underwhelmed with this Onkyo Home Theater Receiver. Nothing special about it besides it's a royal pain to try and find the code to program it so we can use only one remote. One of the things i really dislike about it is the fact that you have to turn the sound level up to the mid 30's to mid 40's before you can hear it. I had called the company to see if there was a Loudness button we had missed, but I was informed that it did not have one and it was normal to have to turn it up that high. I'm not sure how high it goes since we can nearly blow out our windows with the surround sound by the time we reach 55. Why can't it reach loudness by the sound level of 10? Seems asinine to have to turn it up so high..
