Have had the SR608 receiver for years so it was a no brainer to try this one since I purchased a 4K TV recently. AVR itself is great and is feature-packed for this price point, including Audessy-equivalent speaker setup. Only nit I have is that there is no OSD whatsoever, so I can’t tell what volume the receiver is set at.

Connected easily to our other components. Easy to use.

Issues out of the box with HDMI sync. Had it working then stopped with out reason and couldn’t get it back. Bluetooth option worked with no issues. Returned it and went with a different brand.

As usual Onkyo delivers. Superb quality. Works great!

I have a Dolby 5.1 speaker system, and when my old receiver died I went looking for a replacement. My Home Entertainment Center is in an open room so I am not going to get Movie quality sound. Nonetheless this does a good job, and I am happy for the money I paid

It's not the top of the line av receiver but does have most of the features you would need to hook your video and audio together in surround sound. Remote works well as do all the functions.

I bought this as an open box item. This was intended for my outdoor speakers. Bluetooth range is maybe 30ft. I had to buy a bluetooth range extender to get the reciever connect to devices. Other than that I an satisfied with the reciever.

The receiver provides a good sound and provides a variety of different number of connections. The size is just about right for my stereo system.

I’ve had an Onkyo receiver for years. When I upgraded my TV to 4K I needed a receiver that passed 4K. The Best Buy associate pointed me to this receiver and since I’m an Onkyo fan it was done. Nice sound, good price, does what it needs to do.

Good value - bought on sale. Able to set up without much problem although directions did not say there was a 10 second lag from turning on the receiver to actually hearing the sound which was a bit puzzling. Happy with function and sound

Overall a pretty good product. But before you buy, know that the USB will only work with a FAT32 format. I could only get an 8G flash drive to work. 16G or above would not load all my music. Everything else works pretty well. Great price too.

I had an older Onkyo receiver that malfunctioned after a lightning strike very near our home. The new receiver has replaced the old one very well st a fraction of the cost of the older one.

I paired this receiver with my Bose Lifestyle series speakers and it sounded pretty good. If I were to do it again I would choose a higher output receiver. Nice sound for the price though.

I understood this was a lower feature rich unit but had always heard good things about Onkyo. It simply didn't work and was returned. No longer confident I purchased a Denon instead.

This is the perfect receiver for what I needed. I was not looking for the top of the line, but this has exceeded my expectations. It manages everything smoothly. Another nice Onkyo product.
