After years of continuous service my old Onkyo 7.1 decided not to wake up one day. :( I settled on the 5.1 due to price difference between it and the new 7.1 and sadly disappointed as it just doesn't perform as well as my old one. Lacks the "umph" my old one produced while watching high action movies. Probably just fine for someone going from 5.1 to another 5.1. Dropping from 7 to 5 will take some time to adjust to the lower wattage output.

Discovered that the speaker wires are impossible to completely hide so I need to determine if blue tooth rear speakers will connect.

My husband absolutely loves ONKYO products and has purchased them for over 30 years. When he need a replacement receiver this was the only one for him! He loves it!

I purchased this open item and its going well one thing is customer service because I have been having problems with the inputs

This is an excellent receiver, has a good value for money and being a relatively simple receiver has everything you might need to be an undemanding listener

If you don’t need any of the fancy stuff and just want a solid, no-nonsense receiver, this is the one. I’ve had three Onkyo receivers over the years and they’ve worked great.

My only issue with it is the fm antenna does not pick up as many stations as my car might fab a new antenna that works better. Other than that works great.

Good receiver , bought as an open box. Missing remote control . Works like a receiver should.

Hard to believe that this much capability can be purchased for just over $200 and built by a high quality electronics company like Onkyo! More than meeting expectations!

Really haven't used all the features as of yet. Like the audio optimizing feature .reLly takes the guess work out of setup.

A lightning surge took out my Sony receiver so I bought this Onkyo to replace it. So far so good. I have few complaints.

We purchsed this a few months ago. We upgraded from a Denon and we're so glad we did! Additionally the salesman at Best Buy was AMAZING... as they always are!!

So far so good. Intelligently laid out remote controls. Would have liked a knob on the main unit to switch channels instead of keys.

this works just fine and i don't know what it really does but with the whole tv package that we bought this is doing the job.

I was skeptical due to not ever hearing of this product before, but took a chance on it after the sales person recommended it. Glad I did! It’s great!

I decided to change from Sony to Onkyo. Sony has more features but Onkyo has done the job just as good. Once again....solid!

God low priced receiver, but could have better ports for connectors and lacks a port for a remote signal pickup bug.

We already have a Yamaha Receiver for our home theatre and bought this Onkyo as a standby. I love it so far

Replaced my 15 year old Onkyo with this new one. Great receiver awesome connectivity with my surround sound. Would strongly recommend this brand.
