We purchased this receiver when an old sherwood receiver stopped working. This new receiver has everthing you want including Bluetooth and is very easy to use.

It has plenty of hdmi inputs. Has great sound. Easy to setup and use.

This is a basic receiver for the loft replacing a 25 year old receiver. It is basic, no network capabilities, only 2 5 way binding posts, very basic user interface. It supports 4k hdr pass through and a few inputs. If you do not need many devices connected with good audio this works perfect. It is no where near like its big brothers in the tx-nr group. For the price it was hard to beat!

Bought this receiver to power outdoor speakers and watch the football games on the porch. Set up was easy and does exactly what I bought it for.

Seems to do a good job most of the time however, periodically the connection to the tv will be lost and I have to re link them. I disconnected the tuner and just used the tv and didn't have the problem. It has happened about once a month so still not sure what the cause is.

Good sound, easy to set up. Very happy with the purchase especially at the great price!

easy set up, only issue was first one came in damaged by the freight company,but we took back to Best Buy and they got us a new one right out

Was looking for a certain power per channel got way more with this receiver than what I was looking for and for this type of receiver it is blowing my expectations away.

Optimally powered for small to medium-size room. Excellent sound throughout all channels. Solid bass amplification. Speaker connectors ergonomically laid out for easy hook-up. The entire installation process took less than ten minutes. The only drawback, which is the reason for the four-star rating, is the absence of a wired Ethernet port.

Got this to replace second receiver that handles bedroom & deck speakers. Works great, easy to set up. Works well on its own or in conjunction with main receiver

Good sound but the screen the letters and numbers are all jumbled and you can’t read them

I rated this receiver 5 stars based on the purpose for which I bought it. It is serving as a 5.1 system for a computer I use for editing videos and for doing music composition. So far, I am very pleased with the performance; setup was very easy; it seems to be the same good quality I have come to expect after purchasing an Onkyo 7.1 receiver for my home theater. I'm pleased.

I have a game room and needed a new receiver for play a station that's a 5.1 surround sound , this was a great deal and enhances the gaming experience

This was one of my best purchases in a while. I had a 10 year receiver and was using an HDMI switch with a TOS Link connector to make things work. Never really sounded great. Plugged this in and tuned it with the microphone that came with it and it brought new life to my old speakers. Totally worth the entry level price to upgrade.

This receiver has even more than we need and was in low to mid price range. Was easy to setup and use. Quality is good. Glad we chose this receiver!

I use this in my front room for movies. I have 2 bookshelf speakers and a sub with its own amp. And it works great. The only downfall is it takes about 30 seconds to turn on after you push the button. Oh and the Bluetooth range is so so. You really have to keep your phone in the same room if your playing music from it. But it's cheep and that's why I got it. Works great for what it is.

Easy to setUp and Use. Sounds Great. I've owned a few Onkyo Receivers before and always enjoy them and their quality. The only con that I have is the remote. Because there are so many Functions there are so many buttons on the remote, but that's always been their design philosophy on remotes. But the buttons are in a simple layout instead of try to get all fancy.
