We have had to send this off for repairs cause one of speakers were no longer producing sound, they did a factory reset and the problem returned within 2 months. Nothing has changed on our end. Would not suggest purchasing this product.

I have a pretty heavy speaker system I run in my living room including four 15in subs, five 5in speakers and three tweeters. This receiver runs it all with no problem and the sound is amazing so far. I have only been playing music off of the Bluetooth so far but will see how it sounds during the football game tonight. It doesn't push as much base as my last receiver but still has plenty. I'm happy with the purchase.

I purchased this receiver thinking that it would handle all of my needs. Which it did for 5 days. On day 6, the receiver no longer would produce any sound, no matter what I did. Reached out to Onkyo support and I was told that I would have to reset the receiver. I now find myself resetting the receiver ALOT (sometimes multiple times a day) just to have sound. The reviews that I read made this seem like a good purchase but it was not. I will probably leave this outside for some to have for free and purchase much better receiver that I won't have issues with after 5 days.

The volume button on a remote control does not work half the time.the warranty people want me to mail the whole receiver in. I shouldn't have to pay for the postage to mail in the hole receiver to get at fix.

i expected a better system 1st unit made a terrible sound from the speakers tech support said the unit was defective to return it, 2nd unit had same problem, went with a sony

Had to have it serviced within the first month I bought it. Shipping of $80 at my expense. Sound isn't as good as it should be for the price Save your money or buy something else

Very defective.. sometimes I have to switch back and forth from different inputs to get a picture.. now it either doesn't come on or it cuts on and off repeatedly nonstop... very disappointed

It’s stopped working within one year, it just stopped working I don’t even know what happened and same thing happen with my aunt with this same product

Low volume and it died after several months use. I didn’t even use it that often and one day it just wouldn’t turn on.

Do read online reviews before buying. I had issues from the start and there is no service center in Hawaii. Buy something else.

Yep, I've had it about 3 1/3 months now. Today, it stopped playing USB, shortly after it wouldn't not turn on at all. I waited a little and plugged it back in, pressed the power, it turned on! But then it turned off again and smoke started to come out. I unplug and saw while unplugging a small fire inside. Luckily I got it out without things getting out of hand. Can't say I'll ever trust this brand again.

Works fine, but sound quality and flexibility not as good as more expensive units- good value if your needs are basic.

Bought this one to replace another Onkyo that failed on me after a few months. Had to return this one about three months later for same hdmi output failure. Replaced with a new Denon model that was more expensive but worth it in the end. If you buy this, get the longest warranty possible- trust me!

Thing literally just sparked and minorly caught fire after 2 years and two months of use ... 2 months past its warranty. Garbage receiver whose quality is only undermined by its annoying UI and functionality. Spend a little more and get something better. This just burns up in 2 years for now reason.

Have not used yet as the older dvr cannot be hooked up. Have emailed Onkyo for instructions, but never heard back. Only acknowledgement was that they would respond in two days. Still waiting. I haven’t used it, so cannot recommend it. Their customer service is very poor to nonexistent in my experience.

The subwoofer signal did not work. so therefore, I had to return it.

Do not buy does not work bad bad product my husband put it all together it wuold not work it would shot itself off when it was.to be on.it is junk.it not worth a peeny i was a little upset the hole thing best buy usually sells great stuff not this time

1 Month into purchase and its already giving trouble. when I change the channels it sometimes give the switching trouble. picture gets on and off. I have again switch off the receiver and then start it back on. Not sure what I have to do I have the passed the return or exchange time period.
