Went back when I figured out what the problem was and same sales guy said sometimes that happens. Return period was already up. Do not buy this product.

The first one we brought start smoking when we plugged it in. The second one lasted a year an then just didn't work one day. It's out for repairs. Its fried. Waiting to get my money back.

I guess I should have got the extended warranty..

Replaced my old analog Onkyo

Found out the drivers can't handle the new TV signals. I didn't want to spend thousands to replace everything in the walls so I tried just replacing the receiver. Everything is labeled on the back so setup is a breeze. I tried out the room calibration using the included microphone and all my speakers and sound were set automatically. It works perfectly as it should. Fantastic theater sound without any extras I don't need or use.

Stopped working 18 months after purchase

This manufacturer has a lot of bad press. I have rarely had issues with gear. Never purchased a Onkyo. Never would again.

Low Life Expectancy
