Great buy, great sound. We should have done this months ago.

This receiver is replacing an old circa 1994 Kenwood (old enough to not have any Optical connections, let lone an HDMI). Setup took a bit as the primary use is to get the sound from the TV to the speakers - the receiver had to be connected to TV via HDMI. Once set, it works well. Interestingly, the Bluetooth drops a lot of sound even though the WIFI is very strong. Not much an issue in it's location, but a bit maddening. Connected my turntable through a preamp and a CD player through another optical. Both work well.

Good receiver for the money. Easy to use easy to hook up

First time purchase of an Onkyo and heart of new system driving Klipsch RP6000, 500C, R41SA and SPL100. I only needed a 3.1.2/5.1 system for my room size and this receivers pricing and features were a bargain. The 4K upscaling is a bonus and very noticeable from 1080 sources. The 80W provide 95db at at listening position, 13 feet, at 2/3 volume or less. I set max volume to 75 and have never had an instance where I needed more. Sound tracks are as advertised immersive and bring new life to movies. Musically I hear subtle things I've never noticed on tracks I've listened too my whole life. Set up and adjustments are easily done with menu options. Couldn't be more pleased with this Onkyo.

Got this for my hardwired sound system. Very easy to hook up. HDMI plug in allows me to use fire stick remote to change volume when watching tv.

We bought this to replace a 10+ older version of the same thing. This receiver is excellent, has ample plugins and works great with the speakers we already had. No reason to go for a more expensive name, this one will do you good! Here’s to another 10 years.

Easy to use. Initial setup leads you through all the basic items to get you connect to all your devices. The bluetooth function and zone B channel is of partial interest.

Bought this to replace an older model that came with a Bose package deal. This unit seems to be easier to set up and works a lot better.

We were thinking about getting a sound bar but when we saw your price slashed 50 dollars we couldn't pass it up. We had this receiver before but it stopped working after years of use. It is a great receiver and we are very glad we got it. Our surround system is complete again. We are very happy with our purchase.

Had for about a month and works well. Didnt plan on adding any more speakers but this receiver isnt going to take care of all the surrounds if you plan on running anything 7.1 and up
