This is the 2nd Onky receiver that I have purchased. I needed the HDR and HDMI 2.1 features in order to take advantage of content I own. Paired with an HDR television, it makes the colors pop! 4K discs that I already owned that are now played through this unit look entirely different. I'm speaking of Marvel movies in particular, if they say HDR.

The Bluetooth works great and it’s pretty powerful.

It's a good choice, you can't go wrong with ONKYO, our vintage ONKYO kinda died, it worked but the old fashioned tuner-dial string set-up was out of wack ! This new one is great, pairs up good with our new TV.

I bought this to go with some used Bose speakers and sub. This is the first receiver I’ve ever had. It was so simple to setup. My tv only has two hdmi inputs so I had been using a splitter. This receiver has enough hdmi inputs that I no longer need the splitter. Combined with the Bose speakers, the sound is awesome! For $199, I would highly recommend this receiver!

Fairy easy to set up with my existing speakers and sounds good. ARC set up with my old Sony TV was finnicky but I got it working stably after multiple tries. I did not update firmware which may have helped with my ARC issues.

The line out has no volume control to it. Be prepared for loud.

Very impressed with this receiver...replaced a 7.2 Sony and narrowed my system down to a 5.1...this thing is LOUD. Highly recommend, thing is a monster!

Love Onkyo items, 4K perfect for what we need. Easy to use

This is the second one I have bought. No disappointment here.

A friend suggested this item to us and it has been wonderful to use. It's easy (even for the technology impaired like my husband). We are using it with the Harmony Hub and the app on our phone simplifies everything. We have TV's hooked to it, along with 2 different outside set of speakers, and a projector for outside movie watching. Great product!

This is a good entry level A/V. A little hard to understand all the different things it will do without doing some research, but you can figure it out.

This is my first onkyo receiver, i bought the bose accoustimas series V and this receiver does a good job, the sound is clear especially the rear surround sound, very important to do the calibrate to get the perfect sound distance and crossover, for the price can’t go wrong with it...i love it after i set up all i do the whole day is just enjoy the movie and music...

I bought this receiver for my surround speakers I currently have. I love the receiver alot! Its amazing and clear! Now I updated my receivers firmware from Onkyo and ever since the update, my xbox one is on Dolby Atmos but on the receiver, it says "MultiCh PCM" Not "Dolby Atmos" which is weird. Will be returning. Not sounding like it was before.

one of the best receivers on the market, onkyo delivers a clean crisp sound with great frontal design and strong construction. for its basic component makes the room stand out and i am sure its a hot selling item. onkyo has be creating these models for years and i know its one of the best rated machines giving the public a great musical experience
