This Onkyo receiver saved the day for me! I was recommended this device when I wanted to create a home theater-type setup in my den, and it accomplished the task! Everything, from selection to Bluetooth, works great!

I bought it to replace an older Pioneer which was a real pain to operate with tons of menus and non intuitive settings. This receiver was easy to program and operate and it synced perfectly with my home theater system.

I purchased this receiver for a tv that I have in the garage and I already had speakers. Its a good receiver for a medium size room not for a huge room unless you raise up the volume high. For the price I consider it a great receiver.

For a base model receiver this works perfectly for me. Sure I’d love to have more power and a few of the more unique features but for the money this receiver can not be beat. For the basic surround sound system you cannot go wrong here.

I replaced my Yamaha receiver with this one. The setup on the back is pretty straight forward. I really like the buttons on the front. They make it easy to set up all of my devices. I like how my Alexa Voice Remote paired up with this.

Pushed my Elacs! I would recommend this product. For Atmos sound.

First time going with Onkyo. I have been using Pioneer for over 20 years, and then switched to Sony for the last 5. So far I am pleased. When I mute the receiver or there is no input I don't get residual noise from the speakers like I did with the Sony. The Auto calibration feature is nice because I can optimize the sound for where I sit. I am disappointed that the remote is not smart and doesn't learn my accessories like my Pioneer systems did. I am also a little frustrated that because my TV is little older, I had to choose between the sound still feeding through to the TV when I muted the receiver or the ability to turn on other HDMI CEC compliant devices. A muted receiver should mute all audio outputs in my opinion.

Love this receiver. You can increase the vocal sound separately from background volume. Life changing.

Great sound good price and easy to set up and good for movies

The Onkyo receiver is an excellent piece of equipment. The sound quality is better than my previous Denon model.

I upgraded from an old Denon receiver. It works well with my cable box, Sony TV and LG Blu Ray player. There may be better things out there, but this covers the essentials at a very low price point considering the quality performance,

Excellent receiver. This unit was very easy to set up. Onkyo is known for having an excellent product and this didn’t disappoint. I would recommend banana plugs with the front right and left speakers.

I love Onkyo. I have had an onkyo receiver since the beginning and love them. This has upgraded features compared to my last such as blue tooth. Not the easiest setup but the May be user error knowledge

Fantastic starter receiver. It doesn’t have atmos speakers options and is only 5.2. Produces a great powerful sound for a medium sized room.
