    I have this unit set up as 2.1 with a powered Sub but could not use the Sub RCA plug. you also have to turn the volume up to 40 before hearing anything. I read the manual after down loading it, it was worthless! it also said tech support was open 24/7 NOPE!! CLOSED!!! I'm considering taking it back.

    Connected and set up as 2.1 with 2 fronts and 1 subwoofer. The volume is set on 70 just to hear at normal level in a 12 x14 room.
