A big improvement at a great price

I took the Onkyo out, ran the auto-setup and saw an immediate improvement. No knock on the Denon, it just wasn't right for me. This unit was open-box so I saved money, but it was in perfect shape and had all of the accessories and manuals, etc.

Really nice sound

It push alot of power to my bose speakers, especially the bass. Really nice deep bass. The only problem for me is that i cant fogure out for the life of me how to make it stop switching from the tv speakers when i dont want it to. But that more than likely user error.

Great receiver

Guy calls back in 15 minutes and tells me what I need and I’m in the parking lot in 30 minutes. They have people outside to meet you and 5 minutes later I’m fixed up. Great service.

Onkyo-- A name you can trust!

Great separation of channels with little or no distortion. The wireless remote works effortlessly and if you have another Onkyo receiver the remotes are compatible. This is my third Onkyo product in my years of home audio and I have never been let down.

Great mid price range receiver.

It was performed flawlessly for me since purchase. My only feedback is that the volume control does not seem to be linear (i.e. 70 is almost twice as loud as 60), but you get used to it very quickly and it doesn't not effect audio quality at all.

Entry level Onkyo
