Decent receiver for the price. Like the bluetooth capability.

I had a little trouble setting it up but nothing as bad as I expected by other reviews. It was mostly in syncing settings on my tv connection. Very impressed with this unit thus far.

Purchase receiver for a family member due to being on sale and owning 7.2 ch myself. It compliment his Martin Logan MLT2 fairly well.

We’ve always purchased Onkyo Receivers and have never been disappointed. Great quality and great price. Our other one worked with our direct tv remote but unfortunately this one does not.

Using the receiver to drive mounted speakers in my ceiling. So far no issues. Good deal for its price. I dont have subwoofers hooked up as of now, so I am not sure of the bass response.

This was not my first pick. I actually went into get the Sony receiver with the 4K pass through, but I am glad this is the one I got. I will definitely be looking at Onkyo in the future.

Ordered it for my garage, great price under$250 Hooked up to 2 Polk audio speakers and 10" JBL subwoofer, Bluetooth works flawlessly, sounds awesome! I definitely recommend it.

I hate this receiver. Our sub woofer roars every time we turn the tv and receiver off. So we have to turn woofer off manually. It also defaults to GAME mode every time we turn the tv on when nothing is even plugged into that HDMI port! Zero customer service. Wish we had gotten another Yamaha!

Using with hometheatre HD projector setup. Works fine. Setup can be little confusing lots of options.

I had an old Onkyo before that would work whenever it wanted to but the amplification on my speaker was amazing that's why I didn't hasten to buy another one

Received the sr 393 early and we’ll packaged. Complicated to set up. Had to call Geek Squad twice to get it set up so had no tv for a week.

I have owned it less than 2 months, it's been in use less than one month and no sound. I wish I had started using it right away and then I could have just returned it.

Just needed it as a 4K switch that’ll pass through higher 4K resolutions. Does exactly that. I have a 7.2 version of this & it’s awesome, as well.

This did exactly what I needed it to do: an affordable option to update my new xfinity box to connect "surround sound" with HDMI.

The receiver does all I wanted but wish I had gotten a more powerful so the volume level wouldn’t have to up so high. Still a great product.

Was a gift to replace 30+ year old receiver and it works wonderfully.
