    My 8 year old high end Onkyo receiver went out and I needed to get something to replace it. I was amazed that Best Buy had nothing in stock but this low end receiver. I bought it because I didn’t want to wait 3 weeks for a better unit. It’s ok but I’m not completely satisfied. I wish I would have ordered from Someone else and I would have got it much quicker than 3 weeks.

    The Onkyo TX 5.2-Ch. is great for single room audio setup. It falls right in line with the more popular 7.2 and 9.2 receivers that are also offered by Onkyo.

    We love our new receiver. I only wish it had room for one more speaker since we have six speakers and this receiver can only work with five.

    Replaced an old same brand unit. This one has a remote that is not as nice as the old unit. Also this lacks a port in the front of unit.

    Not a bad receiver over all, but it does have it's flaws. For the money you pay I would expect a little more quality. Quite a few times it would go into a "check" mode to check all the speakers even though I just checked them all. It says bluetooth.... but it is very limited. You can probably find something better out there for the same price.

    Reciever is great for price but onkyo has 4k issues and I have issues with 1 of the ports, other than that I'm happy with it

    Love how easy it was to setup atmos. I wish it was a 7 channel but that is personal and not a reflection on the item. Works great.

    I bought this because my 9.1 needed repair after less than a year. I have been granted a new one. The 5.1 has performed perfectly.
