Replaced a Yamaha reciever with Onkyo and so far so good! I noticed more fidelity in music and movies and it seems to bring more life to my speakers! Easy to use and easy to setup! All 4k content looks great even with pass thru on standby! Almost got a Denon but glad I tried out Onkyo and hopefully get years of use until I upgrade to 7.1

This stereo works amazingly! I have everything hooked up to it directly with only one output going from it to the TV. Everything looks and sounds great!

The rep informed me Onkyo was one of their top brands being best selling with least returns. I decided to give it a go. Super easy set up. My new home was pre wired and this made it so easy to connect the surround sound. Also bought a Polk audio sub and everything worked great. Teamed with a 2019 Samsung UHD. Super easy setup! Definitely recommend for the value!

Purchased this to replace an old Yamaha system that was failing. Previously our rear surround speakers were hardly ever heard. However, after installing this unit, which was very easy and quick, I ran the sound configuration with the included microphone. It sounds terrific! Added bonus of UHD for our 4K TV and you really can't beat the performance/price ratio.

This is a quality product. Many different plug in ports.

Tuner works great except sometimes it will switch over to another setting (i.e. from CBL/SAT to GAME) for no apparent reason and without a button being pushed (either on the remote or on the tuner itself). It doesn't happen very often and once we switch it back over, it will stay within the same sitting. Additionally, recently while watching a movie, the sound appeared to go out but the tuner decided we needed to turn it up really high in order to hear it through our speakers (originally, volume level 20ish for a good volume, now it's at least double that to get the same volume level). Other than this, we are pleased with the tuner. Four stars because while we have these issues, there are workarounds.

This receiver does everything I wanted it to do. The reasons I purchased this unit as opposed to something else were the ability to change the base/mid/treble on the fly and the 4K passthrough. The only thing I haven't been able to get the unit to do, and I may be able to do it yet...I just haven't figured it out, is to use it WITHOUT having the TV on. I usually stream music from my phone, through blue tooth, to the receiver and there's no reason to have the TV on for this...no relevant information is displayed on the TV...just that my phone is what is being used. I have accepted that this may not be possible...and still find the receiver works fantastic in every other way.

I love this receiver clean sound easy to use affordable.

this unit is absolutely fantastic. It had a mic setup where it okays all your speakers and their distance to create optimum sound in your movies. It is also Bluetooth so you can connect all your devices to it.

My only qualm with the product is the HDMI out sometimes will loose signal if you have it set up for ARC. The other is the volume as you have to turn it up to 30 - 35 to start to hear anything and from calling Onkyo customer service to trouble shoot that, they say that is normal.

Easy setup and produces good sound. I thought my speakers may be going on the old one, but no rattle with this. Used mostly with streaming media, BlueRay/DVD and an Onkyo CD changer. I'm no expert, but the sound seems very good.

This unit was easy to setup with my equipment. On screen instructions were right on. The microphone for balancing speakers did the job.

Great product and great service and great value.i would buy again. Ease of use and easy set up. I would recommend this to my friends.

A pretty good receiver for the price. The setup through the TV was a pain.

Onkyo has been around a long time and it's a name I trust for quality products. This is a good quality receiver at a good price!

A very stereo receiver. Onkyo have always made good quality audio. I knew by people talking about from my past.

Everything works great easy to setup and use, only problem was setting up my universal remote for the receiver

So far so good! Onkyo makes good gear, and this one is no exception. For the price, this AVR can't be beat. Only using it for 2 channels at the moment, but will later upgrade to 5.2. Only thing is I wish it had a phono input, had to get a preamp for the turntable. Overall, great unit!

It was easy to hook up, the sound is great, the picture is awesome too, and it automatically selects what you have on (DVD, Cable / Sat box, Streaming Box, etc). Looks good as well. Not 5 stars because it is NOT made in USA ! Cannot endorse a product fully that is not American made.

For the money this receiver does a good job. Provides good surround sound and basic receiver capabilities.
