Replaced a $1400 hi end receiver with this Onkyo and it blows the other one away more power to drive the speakers. fuller sound. It's just great!

At first glance I thought I may have over done it. Turned out simple to install, Easy to use, and it does more than I even thought it did. Great sound.

ATMOS at a great price-point!!! Onkyo has done a great job. On screen setup, wifi, bluetooth, chromecast and so much more how can you go wrong.

My old, old Onkyo receiver finally began to cause problems so I replaced it with this new one. I am well pleased with this new Onkyo. And I'm well pleased with the way the Geek Squad set it up for me. I have always done my own setups for my home theater systems but had the Geek Squad set up this receiver and my new 4K player. It was a good decision as they organized my setup better than I had it done originally. I always use Onkyo receivers and they have never given me a reason to switch brands. Good product well worth the money.

This onkyo receiver allows you to hook up to 7 speakers and 2 zones, originally only had 2 ceiling speakers and 2 wall speakers and found that I could not hear speaking. This system needs a center speaker for that. Once I hooked up a center speaker I could calibrate all the speakers with the included mic to achieve optimal sound. Receiver allows you to select many different sound settings based on what you are watching or listening too.

I am using this with a surround sound system with our TV and as an amp for a whole house sound system. Has plenty of power and clear crisp sound

The set up was easy and the sound is amazing. Don’t cheap out on the speaker wire as this receiver is made for high quality sound.

I had been watching this receiver for months and when it went on sale for $249 I pulled the trigger and couldn't be happier. My old Yamaha DSP A2 finally passed away after 20 years of kick-butt service and this Onkyo is a great replacement. It doesn't have the same power as my old Yamaha but not much out there will and it still has enough for surround immersion. Set-up was intuitive and after 20 mins I was good to go.

Bought this receiver around a month ago and have been pleased with it. Very simple to use and setup. I have it powering a 5.1.2 Klipsch speaker system and have been happy this far. Dolby Atmos is awesome. The clarity is great and you really get that movie theater feel. I wish I had went up a model or two and had left room for more expansion. But it is great.

This receiver is a lil daunting to setup, but after the initial setup is very easy to use. Had a tin of features, and great sound.

Everything you are looking for in a receiver, not only is this my first receiver ever but I recommend it. Easy set up and quality of sound

Picked this unit up to replace a dying Yamaha I had purchased about 4 years ago. The hardware interface is simple and this unit is loaded with great features. I've been totally blown away with how great the built in chromecast has been - especially when running multi-room audio. Strangely, even though I used the same 5.1 speaker setup - I definitely feel like the audio quality has substantially improved.

I have wired 4 ceiling speakers on my lanai and two outdoor wired speakers. I wanted to stream music to them. One of the Best Buy guys kept telling me I needed Sonos but I did not believe him. The person said that this recieve was only for home theater. Boy was he wrong. It will play stero through all the speakers. I get streaming too. It is was so easy to use. I will get another onkyo for the other speakers I have in living room and kitchen. I can do zone playing with it too but I have an open house so it is pretty much all the same zone.

easy to set up for Dolby Atmos sounds great. the music sounds great you can hear them moving the fingers up and down on the bass

Was going to go with a soundbar and surround speaker system when this went on sale. Far more versatile, great sound, power and better.

Love my new Onkyo receiver has great surround sound easy to connect easy to use. Very user friendly for the electronically challenged.
