Great receiver for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was an easy plug and play type receiver and has a great sound with our speakers. The only downside is that it’s the only model that does not link up with DirectTv remotes. We were hoping to get down to one remote for channels and sound but we’re stuck with two. One for channels and one for sound.

All the bells and whistles
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Due to a recent lightning strike, despite being powered by a UPS, I had to replace my Onkyo Tx-nr646 with the 676. I like the price and the features are numerous. It was easy to set up. Pretty much identical to the previous unit. I like the Dolby Atmos and internet connectivity.

Great reciver!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Onkyo TX-NR676 is an excellent choice for those that have a surround sound system. It future-proof your home theater in case you upgrade later, but it also offers plenty of modern options for streaming and music playback. An d on sale at Best Buy made it even a better deal

This does it all
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So many inputs, this versatile receiver has replaced the multiple audio systems I had. The phono input sealed the deal for me, I was holding on to my old amp from the 80's just to play LP's, now my home theater and music systems are one. There are more options than I know how to operate.

Onkyo Receiver 7.2
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is Onkyo’s latest series with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos and 4K. To get 4K across the board you must also have a 4K Apple TV and your TV must be 4K as well. So far so good. Definitely can tell a big difference in all of the series. Seems like I have owned them all.

Love It!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound quality is excellent when paired with the Polk Audio speakers. I went with the middle priced speaker set and when connected...THUNDEROUS!!! Also the multiple HDMI connections totally negates the need for an HDMI port splitter. Very happy with this purchase.

Good entry level 7.2 Channel receiver
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good receiver. I don't use all the bells and whistles so I can't comment on everything, but I have owned a lot of receivers over the years and this one performs as advertised. The pass through 4K HDMI is why I bought it in the first place and seems to work very well.

Fantastic
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My old Yamaha HDMI receiver went out after 6 years, I've had luck with Onkyo in the past so decided to give this model a try. Sounds amazing paired with my Pioneer Andrew Jones collection speakers. I even talked a buddy of mine into picking up the same model.

Great Buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great buy as listed in the summary. I wanted to run dual zones. I have outdoor speakers but with the sonos connect I was unable to run my indoor speakers simultaneously. I purchased the onkyo receiver, saved money, and was able to run dual zones with great quality.

Excellent Receiver
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to replace a Kenwood receiver that I bought back in 2001. Wasn’t sure how I’d like this new one, but as soon as I hooked it up I was impressed. It sounds amazing. I ran right out and bought some speakers to use the Dolby Atmos surround sound feature

Qulity reciever at a fair price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this receiver to pair with my Klipsch speakers and it sounds amazing. I prefer the look of the Gold Onkyo recievers which would go perfectly with the copper/gold woofer of my speakers but they stopped making them in the US so this works out okay I guess...
