Bought this on Black Friday because of the price and gift card I had. Haven't done the full 2 subwoofers but overall, I'm very content with the sound. What I like is the simplified GUI and single HDMI pass thru so you don't always have to turn on the receiver.

Great receiver. Somewhat easy to use. This is my second one to purchase. I moved and had to leave the last one at my old house. I didn't install it, my brother did (who is an engineer) but I'm sure you do not need that degree to install it. It works great!

Decided to upgrade equipment with the purchase of a new SONY XBR65X900F. Always used Onkyo receivers in the past and this unit was a great upgrade from my old 608. No issues with receiver / TV or with using a Apple 4k TV unit with it. Clean clear crisp sound.

I was looking for an upgrade and found more than I needed. Easy to set up and lighter than many other brands. Has the lower to do it all especially for a mid tier system. I hooked an all Polk Audio system to include a PSW that makes the system thump!

I have had no issues compared to the reviews I have read...works great with my set up, sure it can do for a few extra features and mods, but for what it is and the price I got it at I cant complain

We needed a new receiver for our new TV to handle our surround sound system. This one works great. It was a piece of cake to set up, does exactly what it's designed to. It is easy to operate for an old guy but has a full range of features. Well worth the money.

Loved all the specifications, inc the onscreen tv connection and internet connectivity. Great sound once you get a oknyo or good 7 piece sound system hooked up to it. Has all the latest features with intuitive controls even kept the Am/fm which is nice

Good price. Nice features. Easy to setup. Sound is not quite as good as my previous Yamaha that kicked the bucket. It’s good for most people, but I think I would spend a little more next time for better sound.

Perfect for my small home theater. Plenty of options for sound preferences. I like the fact that dialogue can still be heard when in surround mode.

I was looking for a stereo receiver to replace an older Onkyo reciever that eventually died. This reciever is ALL-THAT and then some. I'm very happy with this purchase and of course, I purchased Best But protection plan to cover any unforeseen problems.

Onkyo makes some of the best audio receivers and the TX 7.2 is no exception. I got this on Black Friday and out of box for a KILLER deal. Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, 6 HDMI outputs, the works! And all with a 7.2 surround channel. This is a great buy.

House was wired for sound system with speakers in several rooms. Decided to add a receiver to get music throughout the house. Product is great.

This receiver is a hood deal for the money. Accu eq doesn't compare to auddysee but if you know how to manually calibrate you make it sound how you like. It does run the highs a bit hot. Does what it's supposed to. Don't believe the power ratings tho

I have previously owned Denon. Yamaha and Onkyo. I wanted to get 4k pass through receiver for my LG 4k bedroom tv with a Samsung 4k DVD player.. Yamaha and Denon were much more expensive with less features. Set up was easy and the 7.2 sound with my Infinity Modulus and Def Tech main speakers blew me away. I have a Denon 3100 and big Def Tech system in my family room and this receiver sounds just as nice. If you have decent speakers, this receiver will blow you away. I now head to my bedroom to listen to music and watch movies. Great buy!

Perfect for tying all my systems together - nice to be able to use one remote.

I love this thing. i have this hooked up to my B&W 686 bookshelf speakers and wow is the sound great. i am very happy with this receiver!!

Replaced an older Onkyo with a bad power supply with this one. Far fewer buttons on the remote make it easier for the family to use. The phone app works great also. My only gripe is the volume levels are much lower than the old one

This receiver is prove to be very worthy with auto turn on and shut off synced with Apple TV and the LG TV along with the ability to Bluetooth to it or stream from different apps it’s been wonderful

I bought this to replace the onkyo tx-nr515 that had terrible problems with the video handshake. So far I'm very happy with my purchase. Not only do I have no issues with the handshake, but the sound is noticably better especially at lower volume.
