super receiver for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This receiver replaced my old Denon that was adequate but limited. The network connection is a step up for me and I am taking full advantage! The adjustments you can make are numerous and cool. I am still exploring that part of it. I recommend downloading the full manual from the internet. Don't be fooled by the sites that want you to pay for it. There are several that will give you a free download. The manual you get in the box is, at best, sparse. That is the reason for the 4 star rating.

Sounds ok in the first 20 days
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this receiver to replace an Onkyo receiver TNR-509, which lost sound after a few years (Onkyo will rebate some money for a manufacturing defect - waiting for it). Nice things - more HDMI inputs, Apple and Chromecast (only Audio) connectivity. Audyssey audio optimizer Drives my Klipsch/Jamo 5.1 speakers ok, but sound is low. Would have liked a more beefier sound from the Center Channel for watching movies. The Auto Eq (audyssey) supplied made it easy to optimize sound for my setup Final thoughts - Hope this receiver doesn't fail like the previous Onkyo one did after a couple of years

A Great surround sound for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Onkyo 909 surround sound in 1992 and it lasted until 2014 when it no longer would work. It was a very good unit and it cost me just over $2000.00 at the time this 676 unit cost me $250.00 and works I think even better than my old one. My next project would be to get a new 85 inch Sony TV and a subwoffer. The weight of the new unit is about 1/3 of my old unit. Allen
