Not what I expected

This beef I have with this receiver is the fact that every time it is powered on, it forces you to acknowledge their privacy statement. Its a huge waste of time and completely unnecessary, in my opinion. I would be fine acknowledging it ONCE...but EVERY TIME....GIVE ME A BREAK ONKYO!!! Fix this please! I would choose another brand that is more considerate of the user and not wasting their time.

Liked It, But Flaky

It's possible we got a lemon. But the Wi Fi would set up initially with no trouble- only to be offline within a few hours. It even showed it was still connected... but my router said otherwise. After three factory resets and repeats of the same trouble I gave up.

Atmos entry

The main purpose was to achieve Atmos and it delivered as I had hoped. Physical hookup was a breeze, no surprise there. Using the supplied mix, calibration was also very easy. If you're looking to advance your system, you'd do not much better then the Onkyo.
