||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I researched quite a few receivers before deciding, this is the only receiver that actually had an output of more than 100 Watts per channel on all five channels and they are paired with Polk Audio speakers for all five. Couldn't be happier.

AWESOME!!

My last one I bought before HDMI was the standard HD cable. It has the same great wattage to make my Definitive Technology theatre scream & shout! I like the new Dolby & DTS formats too. When the 7.2 format movies and games come out, I’m ready.

Excellent price. Only 9 input sources.

Just be ware that only 9 input sources (including phono and not counting USB & net) are allowed even though there are a lot more input jacks. The advanced manual on line is very vague and confusing. Some preset audial equilization can be better, especially if you want more reverb.

Onkyo Receiver

I would suggest that when you are setting up your new receiver you read and follow the directions as outlined in the instruction papers.. If you don't your set-up experience will be a little frustrating and time consuming. Sound reproduction from the TV and Bluray are very good. I did add a sub woofer also. Good bass reproduction, also.

Very good receiver with good features

It works great with all my existing hardware and the internet radio is suburb. The one con i have is while it had built in chromecast functionality it is only for music and not for video. I would need to get a regular Chromecast for video to plug into the unit, but there are plenty of HDMI inputs to handle it.
