Customers are saying

Customers are enthusiastic about the sound quality, ease of use, and Bluetooth connectivity of the TX 7.2-Ch. Hi-Res Network-Ready 4K Ultra HD and 3D Pass-Through A/V Home Theater Receiver. Many also appreciate the receiver's powerful performance and the extensive features it offers at its price point. However, some users experienced issues with the volume level requiring higher settings to achieve satisfactory sound, and others reported difficulties with the ARC functionality. The receiver's size was also noted as a potential drawback by a few customers.

I love this Receiver and have been partial to Onkyo for years! Love the Wireless and Bluetooth connectivity. I've currently got a Cable Box, Xbox One, and Apple TV 4K all hooked to it and then on to the TV and have zero problems!

I was looking for a receiver with lots of ways to connect at a budget price. I paid under $300 which is a steal. It works great! It has everything I need. I would highly recommend the receiver to anyone no matter your budget.

Works fine and fair amount of options. I bought a Samsung smart TV and it doesn't seem compatible so I must use separate controls for everything. It worked fine previously with my Vizio.

excellent receiver if you have speakers in two rooms, the "app" installed on your smartphone makes using the receiver so easy. you can even turn it on/off with the app without going into the room the receiver is in. AWESOME

This is a feature-packed AVR that is hard to come by at this price point. The ability of having a separate zone 2 was the tipping point on this purchase since most other AVRs with zone 2 are in the $500+ price point.

For the money, it does a great job. With all the options and 4K HDMI pass, 2.2 does a seamless job.I have had very good luck with Onkey Not opposed to the other brands but at this price, with Dolby Atmos 7.2 is a winner.

I was looking for a receiver that would do everything I needed it to and this one fit the bill. The only thing is I wish it had more watts per channel but it's fine I just have to turn it up a little more.

I had the 646 when I upgraded to this one. This one is lacking the THX. Seems slightly less powerful. The built in Chromecast is nice as I can now join it to my other google home speakers for music around the house.

Very user frieindly receiver. It has lots of HDMI ports and especially RCA ports because my old periferals are all RCA ports. The remote is very fast when jumping to different HDMI ports. The chrome cast is very good.

This unit works nicely and has plenty of outputs and inputs, including the phono input which is why I selected it since I have my parents' old turntable that still works perfectly well.

I needed a new receiver for HDR passthrough for both my Xbox One X and my PS4 Pro and saw this bad boy on sale. I knew Onkyo was a great brand so I snagged it and couldn't be happier. Highly recommend.

I really like this unit. Replaced a older Sony AV that didn’t have ARC . It works great with my Bose system. Only complaint is The basic manual could be clearer. When on line to read the full manual.

I have been using this for about 7 months and don't have any complaints. I had a little problem getting the speaker wires connected, so I would recommend banana clips to make it easier.
