this is my 2nd Onkyo receiver bought this on 2018, this receiver lasted only for 3 years and the same thing on my first one, the issue when you make the volume a bit higher it keeps turning off the receiver by itself and its not good when you're in the middle of watching good movies or using it for Karaoke, i think its time for me to look for another brand

Overall we are very happy with this. As others have commented before, have had a few issues with the HDMI input. Love everything else about it.

Awesome some receiver sounds great and I don't have the best speakers out there. Easy to use and configure.

Great purchase for the price. Wonderful starter reciever with a lot of capabilities. Has some malfunctions on the channel input, but easy to fix.

Using this for the last 2 years. Good but not getting good Dolby ATMOS for normal input until it is provided by the source. Using Xbox to input so it gives input as 7.2 channel but out from receiver is ok. It stopped working after a lightning surges. The warranty covered the repairs. It again stopped working and the warranty covered. it is a lot of time-wasting in repairs.

I love the auto setup feature where it automatically sets the different attached devices to adjust volume with the devices remote.

This is exactly what I needed in a receiver. I’m able to control with my phone, whether I’m indoor or sitting outside listening to music.

Had to change recievers because we got a new tv and d reciever wouldn't work. Really glad we choose Onkyo again great reciever.

replacing another onkyo receiver. sounds great, but power seems low compared to my old unit (or they changed their scale on display)

I love the speakers calibration option, and how the receiver balance the speakers volume after that. Great value for the price!

I bought this receiver after my 989 died. It is amazing. The auto calibration make setup easy. the Bluetooth hooks up very fast no more lag.
